Bloodmoon event 2025

it’s almost that time of year for another bloodmoon event. Considering after the bone chill event, the next big event will be the bloodmoon event in March. I have high hopes that there will be big improvements on the event side of it because the bloodpoints were phenomenal this event. But what I would like to talk about are bloodmoon event items, the blood sense map was a cool idea but at the end of the day nobody uses maps unless it’s for an archive or for totem hunting. This go around I really hope we get a bloodsense flashlight or medkit, if they take the masquerade effect that shoots out confetti upon completion and instead replace it with a blood splatter I think that would be dope asf. imagine for the blinding screen for killer it’s blood splattered on your screen and your character wipes it off your screen like it’s irl. I just wanted to get this out there in case somebody on the team looks at this and likes the idea of it.

another thing im kind of concerned about is with the bloodmoon being a yearly event like the twisted masquerade, haunted by daylight and bone chill, does that mean that the lunar new year events are now gone? I really hope that’s not the case because I love the theme of those events and the Chinese firecracker is one of my favorite survivor items.

    I just want to see more and better stuff added BESIDES blood zones. Make injuries matter, make hiding being injured matter, make there be more things that power up either side. Get nuts with it! The mode wasn't ambitious enough and I want to see it do more.

    I can’t wait to see more twisted ideas in the Bloodmoon collection. I loved the vibe that last year’s trailer set with Lacrimosa as the music. It’s so eerie and romantically sadistic; scary and surreal 🩸😵🩸

    I still have hopes there will be a continuation of the Lunar event.. Next year is year of the Snake! I love snakes <3
