Full Cross Progression for Nintendo Switch to other Platforms when!?
Still wanting on empty promises each anniversary that behaviour says it’s gonna happen!
But never does.

I don't think this is going to change. They technically fulfilled the promise of cross progression for switch but it just has limitations.
Fortnite has similar limitation when it comes to shared currency, so i suspect nintendo is not going to budge for anyone.1 -
I'm still grumpy about this to be honest.
Haven't spent a penny on the Switch version since cross progression came to the game and I feel so sorry for all the players that also have content trapped on the platform. Hopefully Switch 2 will be a better DBD experience for players if and when they upgrade.
I love Nintendo games but as a company, yeah not so much…

BHVR is not to blame here. You can blame Nintendo for that. BHVR have provided Crossprogression for every platform, except for things paid on Switch. It is quite clear that Nintendo is the culprit here.

to be fair, BHVR has officially confirmed cross progression for Switch back in.. was it 2019? So at least to some degree they can be blamed for that statement. Me (and i guess plenty of other) bought the game on Switch just because of that false promise.

Ignoring those circumstances is pretty wrong. BHVR cannot travel back in time, at this point, their statement was true. That Nintendo decides to not go with it is not BHVRs fault.
And with thinking like yours you basically kill communication. Because why communicate things when the response is "But you said…"?

Well they did say it, i did ‚lose‘ money because of it and they never really explained why or how they couldnt give us what they promised. No one forced them to promise something that they couldnt hold for whatever reason and there wasnt ever a good explanation from their side, just the Community blaming Nintendo while we do not know what actually happened
If they can say whatever they want without any consequences or being held accountable for it then communication doesnt really matter at all..

BHVR didn't just promise it, they said it was in the game and functioning. They posted this live to the public:
Notice how it specifically mentions DLC crossing over.
Companies aren't allowed to sell a product on the claim that "our product does this thing," then turn around and say "never mind, it doesn't, but it will" and then turn around and say "nope, it's not happening" and never provide any sort of compensation to the customer.
I bought it on Switch because BHVR said cross-progression was in working order and Switch was the only console where that was the case. Now, Switch is the only console where that's not the case. I'm not that interested in whose fault this is, but I know it's not the fault of the customers, and yet the customers are the ones paying for it.
