The Junji Ito Collection looks so damned good!
Thank you for introducing me to a whole new body of work I was not familiar with... I'm loving the genuine creepy and unsettling look of all of this collection, really does feel like some proper horror tropes.
Though as a public service announcment, I need to issue a caution at how skimpy Meg's ballerina outfit is...
Just like bikini Sable and shirtless hot pants David, I need to remind everyone of horror rule 101... All sexy people must die... please avoid them at all costs.
Stay safe, frumpy shirts and long skirts... preferably with a cardigan.

I'm a huge Junji Ito fan, so I'm really happy to see some of his creations come into the fog (even if it is only as a collection of skins).
They all fit the Killers / Survivors that they've chosen to adapt really well. The only down side for me is that I wish they were for Killers that I actually play as. I can see why they chose to adapt The Spirit for Tomie, but she could have easily been a Dredge skin as well. And Black Bird would have been a really good fit for The Artist.
I guess I could try playing some Spirit games… I usually avoid playing Killers that I don't enjoy facing as Survivor, but this skin could tempt me over to the dark side.

TBH, I believe the only reason people hate facing Spirit is she always runs back to hook and tunnels hard, and there isn't a lot you can do if that's what she wants to do… if you don't do that she is kinda hard to play and I find her quite a bit of fun to face. 😁

My problem is more to do with my stubborn refusal to wear headphones when playing this game (or any game). I don't want all that screaming and all those exploding noises pumped into my ears, so I'm usually just left guessing where she is at a loop and most of the time I guess wrong.
I don't doubt she takes a lot of skill to play well, though.

I have a nearly complete collection of his English language publications, including some of the older Dark Horse collections. Like I said, I'm a fan. Yeah, I would recommend that one too. But his best work (and the best introduction imho) is probably Uzumaki.
I genuinely think he's a genius.

Apart from the lack of Gyo & Uzumaki based cosmetic, this is the second best collab collection this game have had so far imo.
