The second iteration of 2v8 will be available shortly - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Came back after a break at the game. Played survivor. Solo as usual.
Trying to do the open the gates as Claudette ritual. Ugly xmas sweater and shorts so not really immersed.

So I'm rusty. I get hooked. A good bit, actually. I look around, and 9 times out of 10 survivors are all running around freaked the hell out instead of doing gens. 2, 3 gens left. No one is doing them.
The rescues go decently enough. '

Is this still normal? I mean I end up with mixed rank SWFs, too.

Solo survivor experience is horrible. At least you see them running, I see my teammates crouching at the other end of the map when the killer is with me.

So yes, it is absolutely normal.

It's like it's getting worse. Survivors are absolutely suicidal all of a sudden, and the killers are snorting it up like coke fiends

I don't understand this. As much as I play survivor, I don't get this.

Sure the matches are a little laggy, but they're not rubberbanding unplayable, (or is it just me?). If they don't want to play in the ping, dodge, damnit.

16-15. Don't have kindred (or much of anything) on Claudette. The killers aren't exactly campy, either. all 3 just kinda run side to side and stuff. Even then I'm running into 3 man SWFs at the least (Green ranks) and this keeps happening.

Yeah that's how rank 15 survivors usually act.
Kindred is not only for camping killers, survivors can see each others auras when you are hooked meaning that they will be more organized. If they see someone coming for you the others know they gotta keep doing gens.

Sounds like a plan, though dedicating a slot to it seems rough just to get people who should have some idea of what's going on to get things done.

I mean me? I do a gen while waiting for a window of opportunity for a rescue. Or I'm looking for/cleansing a totem. Always something. I'm trying to figure out why others don't. It's not like the hud vanishes.
Are most SWFs just so dumb as to need someone broadcasting to them when to do a gen? Even when 2 are standing next to eachother? Then eventually beat the hell out of.

I can't blame it all on ranks. There are SWFs here. In fact I've been the 4th on an ed edd, and eddy kinda often.

    It's really worth the slot.
If they are all doing gens and stop doing them to rescue you that's a really waste of time right there. If they are 3 swf i guess that wouldn't happen but many other times they are just 2 swf or maybe none.
Repairing gens is ALWAYS the main priority and the sooner they get done the higher the chances to survive.
My solo build is focused on aura reading because information is the only thing i need, which is bond + open handed + kindred, feel free to try it out. Also Kindred isn't a teachable so i guess you can get it fast.
Try to rank up so you don't get matched with those survivors. If you need help just let me know and i'll help if i'm online.

Most of my survivors are missing kindred and the other 2 aren't teachable, but I have a loadout to try and shoot for. Thanks.

You can see how well it works in this match.
I know what's going around me at any time, i know which gens are being repaired so i can finish them when they are being chased, when someone being chased is coming towards me, etc...

I'm purple ranks and have seen this. Was on the hook, one person dead already and I'm struggling. Sat and watched the other two on the same gen not even coming for me, I see the killer head in their direction. Next thing they both run in opposite directions and run around like headless chickens like they are both being chased. Or I've watched someone urban evade from the other side of the map to the hook and I go into struggle phase on first hook. It isn't always like this but it feels 10 x worse than it used to be.

Yeah it even happens in red ranks too, but not as often as in the other ones. So best thing to do is to run Kindred AND go to rank 1 asap.

I'll try for the shrine but I just got a new round of devotion.

Ruin became teachable, but RNG, and all.

Thank you for the heads up!

Sunova... I thought the shrine updated Wednesday? Not Tuesday? I just barely get the points, and it updates so can't get open handed? Fack.

    Shrine perks are, spoilers,

    Alert, Wake up
    And
    Monitor and abuse, Remember me
Seeing as I have alert (min main :3)and remember me, monitor and abuse seems like a no brainer.

Also, tlrunning kindred 3. Not much change.
Saw the game basically end in 2 minutes with a basement hook snowball. 5 gens left.

Oh no, you missed open handed? Time to level up your Ace :)

If you are still around rank 15 that might be normal, you need to get out of there asap.

Yeah, debating leveling ace heavily, or going for Dwight since he has a blood point bonus perk now.
Really sucks. I was looking forward to getting open handed and boosting Kate since she already has kindred 3.

Problem with getting out of there is finding enough time/energy/mood to play that much. Lol
    I'll work on it though.
It's crazy how insanely suicidal survivors can get. Luckily I run into others that can get the job done.

I never run farm perks on survivors. If i want to farm bps i get my doctor with bbq and distressing, easy 60K AT LEAST per match.

Yeah, but it's not like Dwight's is bad. I've gotten lucky enough to see the perk in action, and it really feels like there a difference.

Wish I had bbq, but I can't see myself enjoying playing bubba, and I'll get a ritual to do it eventually, so I don't want to spend the cash.

I usually have the other perks on huntress, but I'm hoping to get them on Legion. Maybe Doc, too.
