Gotta say, I find the censor in dbd to be one of the most poorly implemented systems in the game.
It's like the dev in charge of it implemented the most basic of blacklist filter systems, threw in every known keyword they could think of, and left it at that.
No effort at all put into this filter, it will block whole paragraphs if it detects a single keyword in its blacklist meaning even if you are merely explaining something or even just saying something non-offensive, your entire paragraph becomes this: *****************************************************
Oh and hilariously enough they apparently ALSO have a swear filter which blocks curse words with ######, why do you need TWO filter systems bhvr?

you have to learn to swear in Russian. They seem to be completely excluded from the filter system.

I’ve stated this before, but I find baffling how hypocritical this system is.
People swear in the tomes. There’s no slurs in those, obviously, but guano regularly appears.

Yeah I agree with you completely. It can censor regular words, and sometimes it actually changes it's mind on whether to censor a certain word or not, which is the strangest thing to me. It would probably be easier for them to just blacklist the worst words and outside of that let people talk how they want. You can disable chat or report if people can't behave.

I literally said "GG WP <3 Michael Myers hooked Baby girl David" and it censored the names LOL, the names of the actual characters!
