Can someone explain to me the mechanics of the Moon Event?

Would like to plan how I go about tackling it.

    So there will be 2 Vessels placed on the Map, You can increase the amount of these with offerings.
    The Vessels can be taken by survivors at any point in the Game, when a Vessel is Taken the Survivor gains a faint orange glow on their chest and the Vessel object is Unlit. The Survivors goal is to obtain the Vessel and escape trough the Gates or Hatch while holding it.

    For the Killer, There goal is to destroy these Vessels, However the Killer can Only destroy a Vessel while a Survivor is on a Hook. When a Survivor is Hooked, all Survivor Obtained vessels go back to the Vessel Object and the Vessel Turns Red. While the Vessel is Red / A Survivor is on the Hook the Killer has the Ability to Destroy the Vessels from the Match.

    This is all done for Points towards a Coin, Survivors Earn 4 points for every Gen Completed and 25 Points for Escaping with the Vessel. Killers Earn 2 Points for each Hook and 3 points for destroying a vessel.

    The First Coin is 100 Points, the Second 200, the Third 300 and so on up to the 9th coin. So 4,500 Points in Total to receive all the event cosmetics.

    Wth does a vessel look like? Ive played 5 games and havent seen one. Is it big, small, round, square, does it glow, make sound? #########...

    It’s a red glowing lantern.
