Tomie is a scam skin?
Hi, I'm here to talk about a problem that started happening with the Spirit skin Tomie as soon as the update was released. As everyone knows, the Tomie skin was called "pay to win" by many people since it corrected the bug that Spirit has at the moment, which is that the husk makes an annoying noise when you use M2. In this update, BHVR promised to fix that problem (finally), but now the most expensive Spirit skin in the store is almost unplayable.
Tomie had a breath when using M2, but now this breath is so strong that it seems like she has been smoking for years. It seems disrespectful to those of us who paid at least $11 for a skin. I hope they provide a quick solution or at least offer a refund to the entire Spirit player community that bought this skin, which at this moment is horrible to play.

Is this another Huntress-Skin situation where people just bought the skin because it gave an advantage and are now mad that this advantage was removed?

Kinda different since the "advantage" was just how the killer is SUPPOSE to be. Can't really blame ppl for trying to avoid a bug.

I mean... regardless of whether or not something is a bug, having differing behaviour based on which skin you have is something that shouldn't be tolerated or expected in any game...
So if you buy a skin you don't want, just to acquire behaviour that is unintentionally unique to that skin, it's kinda on you if that unique behaviour is then patched out and you no longer want the skin.
Would it still be a scam to fix the other skins to not have the bug? No one I think would agree, and yet semantically there is no difference in how much of a "scam" it would be as defined here.

its not and advantage spirit its bug until october, tomie was released with this bug 80% solved (for some reason). Is it my fault and the other spirit player wanting to play spirit the way it should be?

It's akin to people choosing or avoiding different survivors based off how loud they are. IDEALLY, the different skins wouldn't be bugged at all, but I really can't blame people for trying to mitigate it. It's just odd that BHVR would notice a sound bug and choose to break the sound on the new skin as opposed to fix the sounds on the others...

I payed money for this skin because I like playing Spirit and love Tomie. I was finally able to play Spirit without her bugs AND play as a horror icon I love. Now, all 3 Killers I enjoy the most (Skull Merchant, Houndmaster and Spirit) are bugged, including the skin I just bought.
Suggesting people are mad because they’re not getting an “advantage” when they’re clearly upset about not getting a functioning product that they paid for is ridiculous.

Spirits been bugged since long before the last 2v8. If bhvr hasn't cared by now they never will. I don't blame people for being desperate

Spirit has been bugged for 3 months. Houndmaster and Blight are literally unplayable since last update.

this is exactly what I didn’t buy the skin. Why reward bhvr for fixing a problem through a skin? I already paid for the game. I already paid for other skins. Why would I pay you more for a skin just to make the other thing I already bought function right? Makes no sense you’re just rewarding incompetence.

I mean its a cool skin and it fixed a game ruining bug, so after some time and thought they decided to add the game ruining bug to the new skin so it doesn't feel left out.

I agree, You get better luck using monitor and abuse and m1 them than trying to phase walk because even if you are on the other side of the map you see that yellow gen go red as soon as you press right button.

simple, cuz the skin make the spirit more "playable" I made many reports for the spirit since the bug appear in october and always was ignored. I just want to play the killer I like its not that deep

I didn't know she was bug until this discussion. I'm still gonna run this skin cause she look amazing with this crossover.

Spirit is bugged since a while, you can hear her moanings and wah sounds in phase which makes tracking around the husk on shorter loops quite hard. So obviously people where happy she was well playable again after the release of this skin.
I really don't like this resentment against Spirit/ Spirit players in the DBD community. People (who never play her) think she is some kind of "ez win" killer because she can't be looped the traditional way, even though she got nerfed hard and is not even an S-tier killer anymore.2
