They clarified that the 2 bots thing will be in extreme cases to shorten queues, this is a custom game, swf will be unaffected too.
Sprays take both infections at the same time(both killers need to spread their infections individually) wihch is probably too discourage 2v1s
If nemesis and Wesker end up being popular I'll probably play survivor, but I'm worried about the bots thing

There wasn't going to be bot fills when they had full lobbies of a select number of content creators.

Lol lobbies were pre-selected. It was content creators. They were all live several hours ago showcasing it. It's even in the roadmap.

And? People said it was going to force bots either way which was false misinformation people were spreading I'm sure if that misinformation was the case it would have only allowed 6 slots able to be filled in custom games

Thank you finally someone with reasonable sense on them

Keep in mind that bots being forced was originally officially shared information from an article, it's not something people made up or misinterpreted, they had to clarify this on twitter

This was a special planned event. You think they're going to have bots in a special planned event? They wouldn't have even been an option. They signed up 10 content creators, not 8 and 2 bots lol they've already clarified the bot thing anyway. Myself and bm33 were just replying to your assertion that this event was proof of how an average game of 2v8 will go. It's not.

Exactly a lot of them especially in these forums thought that

Except we have confirmation it won't be force and this was to assert that many survivors were being massive babies

A lot of people care about Dead by Daylight. Some care about Dead by Daylight so much they will b!#ch and whine about any change thst concerns them. For some, that is every change. 😁 It’s how they show they care. Even if they are upset, they are still communicating. What’s important is the flow of information doesn’t stop. When people stop complaining, we know they gave up.
Not yet discussed in the forum, but I saw a lot of content creators use #DBDPartner yesterday. There’s not much information on what that means just yet — but I’m really excited that DBD is at least establishing relationships with content creators and having dialogue. After the privacy data request situation, there really needs to be a silent message sent to the community and “hey, if you just give us 5 seconds of respect, we will let you in the toy box before everyone else” is a really good way to start things off. I want to more of that!
It’s really important from a health perspective to have SOME relationship with the people who talk about you and play your game to thousands of people every day. I’m hoping that whatever #DBDPartner becomes encourages content creators to be … more graceful. There are some DBD content creators that come to mind (one is a farmer with a generic name; one likes to tell the entire world they are truly talented; one is known for being spooky and jukey) whose entire online personality can be boiled down to “I like to complain” and “I deal with toxicity.” We should reward creators that enjoy themselves playing the game and have a good time with their audiences. And I am glad they finally did.
JUST IMAGINE FOR A SECOND …- Next patch notes are delivered to #DBDPartners one day early. They also have PTB access one day early. They re-do what they did yesterday with it.
- BHVR makes #DBDPartners sign a contract that says no videos/tweets/leaks can be posted until after the official release at X time on Y date.
- Content creators have a dedicated BHVR employee they can contact and ask questions BEFORE they make videos and publish them online. This will reduce so much confusion in the community. A big reason why we have questions is because the people we watch are confused and we parrot that.

No one thought this, this is just being needlessly contrarian.

Dunno man, calling people reacting to the only information we had at the time “massive babies” doesn’t seem entirely fair.
7 -
Alot thought this on multiple platforms do some basic rearch

Except there was actual confirmation by the devs and yet still they believed it was gonna be forced cause there doomers

The first post about this issue went up by WolfePhD from an organization that publishes the game.
It was a little over 29 hours later that a dev chimed in to say 'actually, not always'.
In that thread, post Mandy making the clarification, there appears to be one clear post that didn't see the update. Everyone else got back to discussing the merits of whether it is a good idea or not at all.
Because we're all in wait and see mode to see whether this is a very rare occurrence, or almost all the time, because we don't have precise information on how bad the situation has to be for BHVR to implement this.

Most complaints are opposed to bots being in lobbies, regardless of whether they're forced or only when queues are bad. It doesn't really matter what the devs said where when the idea itself garners criticism.

totems heal hook stages. right?
1 -
No, the herbs do. But they do spawn in totem spots similar to green glyphs.
Two types of herbs: green ones heal a health state, yellow/gold ones heal a hook state.1 -
the new totem/chest system looks like more second chances. just what killers need. 12 hooks is not enough. let's add 16 hooks!
