Do you use the visual terror radius?

In the accessibility settings you can turn on Visual Terror Radius. This causes a heart to appear in your survivor model that grows the louder the terror radius is. Do you use it?

(Note: I am not affiliated with DBD, just curious)

I don’t necessarily need it, but it gives me a big advantage, that l wouldn’t have without it.

There is no reason not to use it, as it is practically the fifth or later park slot, and it contributes to the comfort of the game as much as the HUD indicator does.

I don't use the visual terror radius but if you interessted in the accessibility-options in general:

I use the colorblind filter that is… yellow and something else I forgot. I'm not colorblind, but I like the colorpalette more and as a bonus I see red better. So it's good for me as killermain for scratchmarks, and as survivor for redlight.

If you're not using the visual terror radius, you are literally putting yourself at a disadvantage.

Several terror radii start off so quiet that they're barely noticeable, or are so difficult to tell the difference between stages that it's impossible to tell how close they are until they're right on top of you.

The lullabies are so often so faint that they're impossible to notice, and in the case of Trickster, so similar to his terror radius that it's virtually indistinguishable.

Then there's the fact that it hard counters several Killers (Sadako being the biggest example, but Twins, Houndmaster, Freddy and Dracula all suffer).

You still need to pay attention for the properly Undetectable Killers, but you gain so much information from one setting change.

I'd hate to have a bright red, pulsating light, stuck on the screen for the entire match. It would just annoy me. Glad it's here for those that need it though.

i use it and am really fond of the implementation as its not visual clutter but fits the game very well (was annoyed by the mobile version when i saw videos of that lol)

also, i have noticed while people argue they give an advantage especially with lullabys i have noticed in matches that i HEARD a lullaby but couldnt see the visual one yet so… idk… are we all sure that those people are not the actual target audience for this feature to begin with? lol

I don't use it purely because I prefer the games visuals without it

Very helpful to those of us that have hearing issues!

It's a good option for the players who may need it. I've tried it but it's too much of a visual distraction for me.
