PS5 controller issues on PC since new update only D pad left and right

Has anyone else encountered an issue since the new update using left and right dpad on controller? i was playing against a skull merchant and realised i couldnt disable drones…holding down left dpad just makes my character spam crouch/tbag and right dpad makes my character tweak out left/right. I tested my controller in steam and left and right dpad seem to work fine there. and then tried to a random control in dbd to left or right dpad and it didnt let me. I have a PS Pro controller, its potentially just me but worth seeing if im the only one or its a global issue.
