Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Crouch-Tech Was Not Actually Patched...

The main intention of this was to reduce situations where Killer powers could be "crouch-teched" where there was little to no elevation difference.

After doing a lot of testing with Demogorgon (my main), I can safely say that whatever they changed has actually had the opposite effect and it's actually easier to crouch-tech Shred compared to before. There are more atrocious instances of the crouch-tech happening on areas of the same elevation, or instances where a Survivor is at a higher elevation (going up staircases, for example) is just able to avoid a hit by running (Ive had instances where Ive slid off of Survivors like they were covered in butter).

Another thing as well is for whatever reason Shred also likes to prioritize Survivors on hooks now, basically hitting Shreds on an unhooking Survivor is basically a gamble now and most of the time you either miss completely or hit the Survivor on the hook with Shred despite the Shred very clearly being directly on the Unhooking Survivor. It's even reached the point to where Survivors will just take unhooks in my face since they know it's effectively a gamble if I get the hit or not, and Im forced to wait out the entire animation.

Demo still has their moments but this inconsistency and issues with Shred are really demotivating, there are many instances where I would get injured/downs normally but I cant after the update.

So uh… yea. It would be nice if someone at BHVR can look into this, since they didnt fix the issue, they made it worse, so much worse compared to before, and also broke some other things in the process.
