Surveillance is now one of my favorite perks
I have never seen such a massive perk buff before, surveillance just changed from being the worst perk in the game to one of the best and now using in my builds. We no longer have to worry about gens being rushed after you damaged and left the gen. Now THEY TURN WHITE AND STAY WHITE UNTIL SOMEONE STARTS ON IT AGAIN or if the progress goes back to 0%. AND IT TURNS YELLOW FOR 1/4 A MIN IF SOMEONE SNEAKS BACK ON IT. Surveillance is top tier, change my mind.

It’s definitely far better than ever before.
I just hope Behavior continues on with making the near useless perks up to par.
Rather than trying to make a Self Care alternative of all things.

The Devs did great on that patch, what can I say. Everyone seems to love the Perk Rework incentive even if they disagree with said change.

In the meantime, I quite like both the new Surveillance and the new Spies from the Shadows (even if it can be inconsistent in usefulness depending on the map).0 -

Discordance is better because it lets you know when survivors gang bang a gen, which is what gen rushing actually is. You can't gen rush by yourself unless you go full gen jockey with a toolbox. Plus you don't need to do anything, whereas Surveillance requires you to kick a gen.

@thesuicidefox no surveillance is better because it doesn't matter even if 1 survivor is working on it, it will turn yellow, yeah for 16 sec, but it will be infinite white until someone sneaks on it again or it goes back to 0% progression. Discordance only gives you the aura if 2 or more survivors work on it, if 1 is working on it, you will not get notified

Sometimes you don't have the time to do that because if you kick the gen you lose the chase. And it doesn't stop the survivor from just tapping it to get you to waste time to come over and kick it again. The only time it matters is when the gen has a lot of progress on it so you can make sure it's losing progress, but truth be told if survivors are swarming the gen that's near done it doesn't matter. It's a losing battle.
Discordance let's you know when they team up on a gen which is way more important because just 2 survivors with no buffs can punch out the gen in 44 seconds. That's a big deal and you want to stop that, even if it means chasing one and letting the other work on the gen just because the gen won't be done faster now.

I've yet to face someone running Surveillance...
But i did run it on Piggy-Chan (only character that i have it on lul) and i was pretty nice indeed

Had a nurse running it other day and of course it turned out as expected although the suspicious plays helped.
