Any updates on skull merchant rework?
Played skull merchant earlier and her power feels very weak compared to others any update as to when she will receive her rework to make her move viable?

Because of QoL updates it is unlikely she will be changed any time soon.
They really did her dirty…

They should either fully give up on drones, or make them purely information power and give her something else for chase.

Yes, I am expecting a chase power
Drones should be only for info, such as killer instinct if you are scanned by it. Enough with deep wound, hinder, haste and undetectable.

I am sure they will be able to squeeze her in. We have lots of time. All content is pushed back by at least 2 weeks allowing them time to work on QOL stuff which they said the team has a lot of it done already since they have been working hard on it.
They more than likely already have a layout made for Skull Mommy. Its just a matter of touching it up and testing it before it goes to PTB later on this year. Id say June at the latest :D

I am fine in udetectable integrated to her power, so she is not fully out of touch with original design.
But everything to her chase simply needs to be some new power not connected to drones. It needs to be something skill based, so it can be outplayed.

She's not my killer main by any means but I feel confident they can whip something up. It might not be perfect but anything is better than what we have currently.

What do you think of the "1-hour Skull Merchant vs best survivor team in world" match? Legit top level match, or just a fluke? I lean towards the latter.

It was fluke, they didn't prepare or anything and just tried to figure it out during the game. Next game would be easy for them, because they would just not heal and play safe (prerun) to break 3-gen.
But it was an issue, because playing her was way easier than playing against it. So breaking her 3-gen was near impossible for soloQ.
I don't think it would be that big issue now, because all those perks are gutted/nerfed and gen kicking is limited.

They didn't even try to prepare. They KNEW it would be a 3-gen match, and they still gave her one for free. And when they actually gave her a free down in her 3-gen and then she went to hook them, no flashlight save, no gen rushing, just standing around and barely getting back to the gens.
But how can you agree with that and then say she's still the problem? It wasn't impossible to break her 3-gen as a solo. Push the 2 furthest, hold forward at the first sight/sound of her, and she can't be in 2 places at once. You could even push 3 gens at once if all 4 are still alive. And this was when they had gen tapping still, mins you. Skull Merchant was waaay overblown, and was ultimately still an M1 trash killer. They just complained because it took teamwork and effort to beat her, and they wouldn't even read what her power did. Just DC'd until they faced an easy killer.
The 8-kick limit now and the instant gen tapping back then function the same way, making it more trouble than it's worth for the killer to kick the gens. Those perks weren't even problems because they were countered by gen tapping. You could put them back in as they were at their peak, right now, and they wouldn't be meta defining. It really takes facing good survivors a killer to get any of this stuff, and I don't think most people have done that, so they don't get it.

Even in her best days in 3gen she was much weaker than a knight or blight or nurse, people just saw 1 video and went crazy

You needed 4 people playing save, be willing to stay injured and push 2 specific gens basically on the same time. Most important was that all 4 survivors had to actually try to break the 3-gen.
That was very unlikely in soloQ and 3-gen was also way stronger than it is now…
I don't really think it would be such an issue now, but she would still be highly hated killer.I think her power need to be changed and either get rid of drones, or make them purely information part of her power. They simply can't have anything to do with chase.

I have claimed in past that she was never the best 3-gen killer even during gen kicking era, but she was definetly easiest to get best results. That's why it was way more common to see her 3-gen than any other killer (maybe except Knight, that may be around the same).
