Why Grade penalty wont work
say your someone whos got all the perks or play enough to get bloodpoints from both sides, it wont work cuz some people wont care about the grades its just for bp really no real downside not to mention losing games normally wont depip you now so easy to get that grade back up its kinda of meh penalty if u really think about it it wont really stop people from getting out of their way to "Go Next" if they really dont like the killer or the match

This is actually a good point. There are a ton of players who have everything maxxed. I have played off and on for years and just now got my survivors all unlocked. The perks that is.

They also get a DC penalty, which is basically the thing they were trying to avoid by doing this. So now if they do it, they will probably just DC instead since they will get the penalty anyway, and they can leave faster.

Well if grade penalty it DC penalty will work dbd has to give the survivors options to select 2 killers they don't want to face and maybe 2 maps they don't want to play in. Me I don't want to play against the unknown as the Ballsack
Dbd can then collect the stats and see which killers and maps were most rejected by the players and maybe do a rework or something

Yeah, the DC penalty is the main deterrent here; the docking of a grade is just a tack on.

Well some of us do care about the BP and unless they address the accessibility issues of some killers, then losing an entire grade is way too harsh a punishment for something you can't help.
