We Need a US Central Server
Since DBD is in a Health first state right now... let's go ahead and add another server so I can get under 70 ping for once. I'm facing killers on a wide spectrum, some with advantages of a ping in the 20s, and some with a ping of 125. The hits I receive come from Mars. I don't really see a problem as killer where my hits don't connect, so I'm not sure if the whispers of hit validation is killer sided are true or not. Either way, it's weird connecting either East or West.

They're adamant about giving regions that already have servers more servers idk why

If your ping is 70 - you will not notice any difference if your ping will be 20 or 30. Asking to "lower" your ping from 70 - will not make any noticeable difference.
The "joke show" coming into play once you reach 105+ ping - this is where you will start noticing a significant delay. (nearly 1 second delay)
I personally play with 71-76 ping mostly (I suppose it's Warsaw server). Sometimes I have 89-93 (further away for some reason).
On the event mods - I usually have 110 - 125 (the main reason why I stopped playing event mods and it's not only me). And I think it's because the events are using different servers (again, for some reason).
In general 70 ping is considered normal\fine. If you have killers against you with 125 and higher - it's solely the game's issue causing the person to connect to the furthest server. I would even say - it's a bug.
Edit: OR - the person playing a killer is just having a bad network connection, ofc. But it's not always the reason.

I believe they just recently added a third location to the US region.

Fair point but also why it's crazy DbD tolerates Killer players at 349!! They have a huge advantage and they are unpunished with hits. Last I checked, hit validation kicked in at 350+?

It's wild that there's no ping limit. I am known to hit 1100 ping on bad days, with my personal record being 11,000 ping. I broke the entire game by going into a locker

If they're still using Amazon Web Services, the closest datacenter to the central US is in Ohio, so I guess your best option is to call up Jeff Bezos and tell him to create one close to you.
