What are some fun non meta perks to use on nemesis
I’m trying to make a “lore accurate” nemesis so I’m not using much meta. All I’m using is pain resonance as my sole gen perk. I’m using thwack and all shacking thunder. I keep switching the 4th perk and I can’t seem to see anything that fits. Dbd is kind of boring at the moment which the last chapter being meh and the next one being delayed so I’m just trying anything out. I’m really hoping that the next chapter has cool perks to use on nemesis. What perks work good on nemesis and make him feel more like nemesis from RE3

Predator, maybe?
The unshakeable Tyrant that has an unerring sense for his prey, makes sense you wouldn't be able to slip chase that easily.
He has a tendency to pop up at the least opportune moments out of nowhere, too, so maybe something like Furtive Chase or Machine Learning?

Enduring Spirit Fury?
Always a good one.

I would be down for a furtive chase build if gameafoot worked on pallets. That would be so cool. I want them to fix it so bad

For Nemi? Nemesis.

My Nemesis build is also designed to be accurate to the character rather than efficient for gameplay.
Brutal Strength: yes, Nemesis can easily destroy pallets and walls with his tentacle. It''s still useful while in Tier 1 though, and goes well with other perks in this build.
Enduring: pallets should only be minor inconveniences. Get stunned, shrug it off, destroy it, resume chase.
Knock Out: now before you go and get the torches and pitchforks, allow me to explain. I do not use Knock Out in this build for the purpose most use it for, which is (malicious) slugging. I use it because a punch from a hulking brute like Nemesis is sure to inflict that kind of damage.
Pop Goes The Weasel: similar to Nemmie's punches, I can imagine that his kicks do a lot of damage too. Hence why Pop comes into play. Plus it's a nice regression perk too.
Alternatives you can use:
Fire Up: pairs perfectly with Brutal Strength and makes Nemesis an even more unstoppable force.
Ultimate Weapon: just the name of the perk alone should make this a good pick.
Any of Nemmie's own perks: Lethal Pursuer comes to mind, can be paired with other aura reading (for example the Jill's Sandwich add-on).1 -
Id actually argue against Enduring since in the games when you stun him he is staggered for quite some time.
I prefer using Dark Arrogance + Superior Anatomy. It somewhat covers his jumping capabilities from RE3make, but also the stun. Just makes it a bit closer to the source material imo.

Game afoot, then chase Jill until she's the obsession pair it with rancor enduring and spirit fury. Very fun if the Jill has a good sense of humor post game

Interesting 🤔. Well, maybe Nemesis got powered up a bit in the Entity's realm and is now more resilient to stuns?

I like thwack on him coz it's just funny watching survivors scream as you chase them

Did they ever fix Game Afoot on him?
Cause that speed you up chasing your obsession while smashing through pallets... pretty on brand for Nemesis 😁

No unfortunately. Still waiting for them too. It’s not only him but it’s how the perk is programmed. It doesn’t take m2 destruction of pallets but it does for walls. Really want them to finally fix it

Coup is incredibly fun with nemmy. Probably not optimal but smacking survivors with the haymaker from downtown always gets me feeling devilish

Both in name and function, I’d say Lethal Pursuer is nemesis - at least in original Re3 anyway… remake Re3 sees poor nemi turn into Xenomorph… 😅
Now where to Hide (except save rooms of course lol!
corrupt intervention - Nemi do be liking a good old intervention - corruptedly in Resi!
Enduring - well nothing gonna stop ol’ Nemi from his task
finally, find and destroy them pesky STARS!0 -
Ultimate sadge... would be so good on Bubba 🥺

I mean in both cases its clearly meant for balance purposes, in the case of the stun how ever I guess its the thing like the bigger they are the harder they fall? Idk, it just makes me feel more like Nemesis. That being said he is by NO means slow, and I hate that they didn't add some form of speed to his kit or even his animations to showcase this.
This video PERFECTLY showcases basically everything in his kit, and its why so many people aren't satisfied with current Nemesis.
EDIT: Also heres a side by side of the 2 (DbD Nemesis and RE3)

I'm a big fan of stealth perks on nemesis because it's just scary just doing your thing and suddenly hearing STOMP STOMP STOMP right behind you without any terror radius music going off.

I go with THWACK. From a lore perspective, its the sound Nemesis' whip makes.
But from a game play perspective, its one of my favorite perks to use on our resident B.O.W killer. Nemesis is a killer that doesn't really need to break pallets to get downs. So I leave more then a few pallets up. That way, if I ever have trouble finding survivors, I just break a pallet with the whip, and get some value out of survivor screams and aura reading.
I assure you, there's so much value in this with Nemesis0 -
That's why playing Nemesis during the Halloween event is so much fun, you can use the Blight Serum for super speed and the captured Haunts as an alternative to the rocket launcher xD.

Never thought about the haunts acting as a rocket launcher lol
But the serum? hell yeah
