Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

A Single Best Perk For/Against Each Killer

If you had to sift through every 200+ perk on the killer side, which one and only one would be the absolute best for a given killer? And which survivor perk is the best to directly or semi-directly counter a particular killer?

Doctor, for instance. I am convinced Distressing was made for him and is an immaculate synergy piece. Because his Static Blast ability is directly linked to his Terror Radius, Distressing improves the range drastically - and that's before stacking add-ons. On top of that, Distressing boosts Deviousness bloodpoints - of which the Doctor has the most actions of all killers that trigger Deviousness, as per the DBD Wiki. This may be one of the most lackluster perks available but yet it is just so good on Doctor because it fits perfectly into his gameplay like that last puzzle piece.

And for the Doctor, then, the best perk to counter him naturally would be Calm Spirit.

Fixated/Lethal Pursuer are perfect for and against Pinhead; Fixated gamers are the equivalent of Hope gamers. Lethal is training wheels but that perk is mandatory imo for your first time diving into Box Logic.

For the Unknown their best perk synergies lie in a combination of info+ stealth. The unknowns own Unforeseen was custom made for the Unknown. This by extension makes Nowhere to Hide insanely good on them. Revealing the Unknown to force them into being a Huntress hurts them a lot since they can no longer attack from an Unknown angle

I mean, most killers have several options, but I can just say which one are my favorite on my most played killers:

    Twins: Coup de Grâce
    Shape, Ghostface: PWYF
    Legion: Enduring
    Oni: Unforeseen
    Deathslinger: Coup de Grâce
    Billy, Blight: BBQ
    Artist: DMS
    Chucky: Brutal strength
    Lich, Singularity, Dracula: Rapid brutality

    Next patch:
Pig, Skully: Whispers (so you know when to use undetectable without survivors hearing TR)

Nurse- best perk no where to hide. best counter was distortion....might still be

pig- hex face the darkness is probably the popular pick but I'm going with brutal strength. She just get kill by pre drops. The best counter to most stealth killers is sprint burst

wraith- sloppy butcher. Any perk that allow you to reset quickly

chucky- honestly it just gen defense. counter sprint burst

wesker- best perk brutal strength. hyper focus stake out go crazy against his TR

trapper- The popular answer corrupt but i think agitation go stupid on him. You go in the basement against him and he's running bloody coil your basically just dead. He's actually efficient at camping basement unlike huntress or bubba because he don't need to come back to the trap go off. Counterpick wall hacking perks so u can see where he setting up.

Ghost face- best coup de grace. counterpick spin chill

legoin- new legion move faster and cancel fatigue faster so blood favor maybe? get no diff by made for this

skull merchant- battery....because it give survivors PTSD of the old merchant. counter sprint burst

spirit- whatever cause exhaustion. Iron will

The Knight MFT is his hard counter. You will get no value from guards alone - they are slower than a survivor with MFT active - and it will be harder to do a pincer attack.

A very good perk for the Knight is Surveillance. Its not much used but its S tier o him.

Best perk against her is probably something like Overcome or Windows.

    Hag: Surge

Best perk against her is probably Object of Obsession.
