RPD hook spawns

Hear me out I really think they need to change the lobby hook I'm not saying get rid of it but move it closer to the stairs or re-position the hooks in that area.. I say that because I've had too many killers camp me and my teammates just by running a square path up one set of stairs then down the other to keep the bar from going up too much or they'll simply just stand on the stairs especially with a long ranged killer your not getting the unhook without taking a hit unless they mess up which a really good killer with trickshot hatchets across the map skills won't miss.. just yesterday I had an unknown keep my teammates from getting to me so I ended up hitting second hook (with the camping bar only halfway) and when they finally got me off he tunneled me at 5 gens and in another instance a trapper did the path I mentioned and wouldn't let anyone get to my teammates so 2 people died on their hooks at 3 gens and now that they've made the hooks spawn back the lobby hook will always be there

Plz don't give me that BS saying if the killer is camping just do the gens I know I've tried that and it doesn't usually work plus no one wants to die on hook I wouldn't and I know my teammates wouldn't it's not fun and it's not fair that my points have to sink because you want to be a toxic crybaby and camp

It's only fair that the spot is a good camping spot, because of the anti-camp for free, and because a survivor simply doing a loop up and down each side of the stairs wastes like 20-40 seconds for free. I don't even think it is a good camping spot. You just run up and hook trade, meanwhile everyone else is doing gens. Rinse and repeat once or twice, and you're already at 1 gen left or all gens done. There's not a lot you can do against camping besides that, but then the killer isn't doing anything either.

This map is controlled by that center section.

Do you want the killer to literally self lobotomize so they fail to recognize that the 3-4 generators the room gives easy access to are convenient to the location?

I'd rather players running survivors on this map accept the prominence of the area and equate going down in range of that hook as a massive game play failure, on their part.

Or you could start a public out cry and reward failure with additional balance changes.

I'll be clear. I played on this map last night as survivor. Lost due to similar circumstances and all I want is another shot at the mistiming we engaged in. No more nerfs to things, when adjusting playstyle will suffice.

There's a lot of maps where survivors just need to learn not to go down in certain places. If there's a place where the killer can get a hook trade and then some every time, or can hook a survivor in the middle of several generators, why would you go down there? I don't pay attention to that kind of stuff myself very often, but then I make up for it by playing well in all other areas.

RPD has never screamed "killer sided" to me. I don't think there's any spot on that map where the killer gets a hook and is instantly like, "Yes! Now this match is in the bag!" It just doesn't happen. The map's too big with too many strong windows and pallets to run to.

It's almost like your not even reading what I typed I LITERALLY just explained how they camped and how my teammates died and I LITERALLY just said I hit second hook with only half my bar full and in the trapper match no one got off the hook via the anti camping bar there's a reason you have 6 down votes on your comment your not acknowledging what I said and you can't even say it's only fair when it was like that before the camping mechanic was in place feels like your just making an excuse and like I stated standing on top the stairs don't do anything for that mechanic so it's not good even if it's for free when it doesn't do anything in the first place

I like the map, from both sides.

But I avoid that room if the killer is not engaged unless I have some reason to go down, or need to work on those gens before the map gets too small.

And most importantly mid to late game it is very hard for the survivors to organize an unhook and when the survivor is on that hook, they hurt their team.

So the OP is correct I feel, but the solution is in my mind "Play better" as obnoxious as it sounds.
