Which character will you *never* play?

Houndmaster triggers my fight/flight instincts. I love animals so it depresses me that a dog makes me constantly anxious.

FPS game logic does not apply so yes your opinion isn’t worth the same. The ranged killers in this game have wind up times in the seconds whereas shooters are in 1/4th of a second. These ranged killers are also projectile based meaning there weapons have travel time. FPS games consist almost entirely of Hitscan which means no leading at all, as soon as you pull the trigger you hit your target if your on it.
None of the ranged killers in this game are strong enough to warrant even more nerfs to them. The best is Huntress and almost every single person who plays this game at a high level puts her in B Tier at best. New survivors need to get better not have the game dumbed down to match them.
1,400 hours isn’t a lot for a game that’s been out nearly a decade. And if you haven’t played ranged killers at all or even a little than no, you shouldn’t be suggesting things like that. You should run that idea by people who play ranged killers a lot and at high levels to see what they think of you don’t want to play them and find out for yourself.

Blight makes me so nauseous I find it near impossible to play him, which is funny because I don’t get motion sickness like at all otherwise, not even IRL.
Also, speaking of sensory things, I find that bubba’s blep sound that plays when his charges are full makes me feel sort of ill, I can’t even watch a stream of someone playing bubba. I can’t explain it.

Several
Billy/blight because they are both braindead
Nurse seriously anymore. Because its a joke what you can do.
Seal/Inscense Plague. Because they are both broken addons.
Stone/Piece/Mirrors Meyers. Because its no fun or fair on the receiving end.survivor is just skin based so doesnt really matter. Personal flavor
No skin showing dude character for sure.0 -
You can't pay me to play Wesker again. He's not fun on controller, he's slippery and feels bad to me.
I asked a Wesker Main once if that was normal and they said "yeah that's just how he is."
No thanks. I like feeling in control of my Killer.3 -
It has nothing to do with strength or reputation, but Spirit. I don't know what it is, but I have absolutely zero fun using her power so why would I play her?

Trickster. I find him really boring on both sides.

FPS game logic does apply when you’re trying to give him things that an FPS has. The fact that he doesn’t have those things is what makes him different from an FPS I agree, but you going he should be buffed to act like an fps but don’t look at him like an fps if you give him those things makes 0 sense. Like think that through.
Ya know with your logic about new players not having the game dumbed down to them there’s sooo many things that could be walked back that were implemented on both sides that are just the most hand holding things I’ve ever seen. Example the huntress buff that happened, it gave already highly skilled huntresses more time because they had to go to lockers less to reload, while I against lower skill levels was expected to dodge all those hatches even when they couldn’t land a single one, I would say it probably helped them the most because they didn’t have to repeatedly go to lockers to learn cutting down that pain point , but my difficulty was increased on both ends as a survivor to account for that. I know some killers think time is only important for their side, but seconds on survivor side makes a huge difference too. B tier is fine, would say B tier killers are the most fair killers in the game because they fit most people’s skill level after a certain threshold of playing. If they make every killer S tier and don’t look at anything for survivor or matchmaking if you’re not a survivor god you might as well not even play this game if you want to take this game seriously, you’ll just be fodder all the time and need 10000 hrs to “git good”, again this is putting all the expectation of learning solely on survivor.
I don’t need to run it by ranged killers, it’s ranged killers responsibility to give their feedback from their perspective. It’s my job to give survivor feedback because I’m giving a survivor perspective to these proposals. I’m more likely to try to find common ground with someone that’s trying to meet in the middle than someone that’s just out to curb stomp the majority of the player base for “feel goods” at other people’s expense. You make your case, I’ll make mine. Additionally I think everyone’s opinion matters even if they downloaded the game yesterday, or made a career out of playing the game. Anyways that’s my opinion, and we differ one whose opinion matters. I think everyone’s does to paint full pictures, and in a lot of cases there’s meeting in the middle for improving quality for the “feels good” while rewarding skill/knowledge on both sides. If you only listen to a specific subset of people that’s how false narratives and one sided perspectives get pushed that lead to great harm, gestures at history, video game culture is no exception to this when discussing nerfs or buffs. That’s just the way biased data works when you cut out other perspectives. I encourage people to pick up a book that pertains to discussions, debates, and speech. It’s what I do when I’m not playing this game in my free time, because I strive to be a well rounded individual. Have a good day Bodark.

Survivors are eh, there are some I like more and some I like less but I don't think there's any survivor I'd /never/ play. I mean, some of them will never be my favorites (Ash, Jeff, Bill), but if I have BP offerings on them then I'll play them no problem.
As for killers, there are some killers which I never see myself playing a lot unless there's a tome challenge or I want to get a Steam achievement specific to them. To name a few, Trapper (he requires a level of patience I lack), Billy/Bubba (skill issue), Ghostface (also for a lack of patience and the sneaky playstyle just does not suit me lol I main Doctor! I love announcing myself!), and probably Singularity because I love them but the whole thing around switching between cams makes me dizzy as hell. Then there are killers I find a bit bland or too straightforward, like Nemesis or Houndmaster, but then again it's nothing against them, I just don't find them interesting.
Come to think of it, there /are/ two killers that I'll probably never play outside of challenges/achievements and that's Pinhead and Knight. Hate facing them as survivor with my whole heart so yeah. ######### them.
