Who else here would like...
That when the killer perform certain actions like hooking, damaging gens, breaking pallets, etc the game would shift to 3rd person briefly/during this action (much like entering snowmen in the Winter evts)? This way we could enjoy more the skins we buy for them and it would feel less that we are playing as floating limbs.
Of course this option would be toggleable in Options so people that have motion sickness or simply don't like this idea wouldn't be forced to use it.😁

Solid. Could be good for info as well - seeing if there's anyone hugging your back for the save etc.

Seems nice but would likely cause nauseous. With how short the animation is and it's a very quick back and forth transition.

I would love extra info as well, but foreseeing that people could complaint that the killer is getting a buff is the reason I, for example, said "hooking" only and not "while you have a surv in your shoulders".
Would be pretty sick to be able to be in 3rd person while walking towards a hook for the hooking.😁That's why I've said to make this an option that you can turn on/off😁

I like the idea but I think even the limited FOV during these actions is intentional. There’s been many times a Killer missed me hiding next to the gen because it blocks their line of sight in a specific way. I think having it 3rd person would maybe mess with that a little.
But I think understand the spirit of your suggestion; having more ways to appreciate Killer skins as the Killer.

Tbh I wouldn't mind if survivors get 1st person view and killer 3rd person. I wonder if they think killer in third person will be too easy?

MAYBE the killer model in the middle of the screen would give survs some sort of advantage they don't have now with killers being 1st person.
A while back BHVR made a survey asking about which modifier from a list you would like to see coming to the game and the Switched Perspectives (surv in 1st and killer in 3rd) was one of them. Hope they don't scrap this idea so we could test these things out.1 -
They do have some pretty cool skins, I would want to see them more too if I spent the money on them. Maybe there’s something they can do there without having to rework a bunch of stuff. Something like this maybe?
so like camera angled from ground pointing up in a 3rd person 360 spin pov for certain actions so they can see their cosmetics more? I want that bdsm huntress with her halo to see what an absolute angel they are ❤️ I imagine from this angle it would give less information while still allowing killers to see their self like some sort of bottom up third person \ angle hold on let me see if I can find a more visual reference.

so like starting bottom right angle vertical, move to mid axis right, then move to y mid angle down for a nice face and mid pov, then move to left xy over shoulder to finish back at starting point. Am I making sense to an quadratic equation modelers?

I try lol 😂 my art appreciation is better than my art though. But I think either example could work without giving too much information away. Could also make for some nice photo bombs.

thanks! I mean I’m open to them toying with some angles so killers can see their skins more. I hate when i buy or get skins in a game(looking at you Diablo) but can’t really appreciate them bc of camera angles or pov. I think there’s some wiggle room without just giving away everything considering zoom or even adding a blurred effect to surroundings when it happens.

Mostly play killer, but I agree here. I feel the vision restriction is an important part of balancing the killer.

Thanks, it was just something I pieced together off the feedback in here from other people’s thoughts. Team work makes the dream work.I do not work for BHRV I’m just a dbd enthusiast that just so happens to be in it/communications. Yeah though it all came from everyone’s input though, and I applied some critical thinking to it to give their ideas form. I just drew some sticks. It was all them really.
I did not draw the drone, but I too found it hilarious!💙
