Perk builds reset / don't get saved sometimes

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE:
It sometimes occurs that perk builds (perks, add-ons and offerings) reset to the previous build, even after you played a match with it. And it can happen that it resets even on another day you log in into DbD.
PLATFORM: PC (Steam)
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:
For example: I equipped a survivor perk build yesterday with Balanced Landing, Blood Rush, Fixated and Vigil and played it a few matches. When I logged into DbD again today the perk build was gone and reset to the previous one I had changed before (Dead Hard, Finesse, Resilience, Windows of Opportunity).
