Original main menu music:
And now we're stuck with this annoying mid-tier music with an anime background and continuous background sounds that are so loud. Everything that made the original main menu perfect was removed.
Ghoul's main menu music:
Bring back the actual horror into the game. Bring back the original horror aesthetic that the game had before the graphical update. Bring back the original atmosphere and the music. I would give anything for that to happen because this used to be my favorite horror game.Comments

BHVR should make this an optional setting so not all players are forced to listen to the new music. And yeah I know about the lobby changes for new DLCs. But I still just find it annoying now, I used to think it was fine because the music for the DLCs weren't that bad. But I absolutely despise the anime music, I think it ruins the whole DBD aesthetic completely.

We asked for custom lobbies for years. There are many lobby themes, that people liked A LOT.
Some examples are:
- og halloween event
- All kill chapter
My personal favourite is still the Sadako rising - lobby theme. Felt so other worldly.
Sadly they already stated that they do not intend to make us customize our lobbies. Sorry to disappoint.

Just lower the menu music down to 0 in settings if you don't want to listen to it that much. Also are you mad at it because you just don't like it or because it's anime?

That's not the point I'm making. I love the original menu music and I'm saying BHVR should make the DLC lobby's an optional setting that players can either enable or disable so everyone isn't forced to listen to it. I hate the current DLC's lobby because it just sounds so mediocre. It doesn't fit DBD's aesthetic or atmosphere at all. Claiming that it's just because of anime is stupid. The truth of the matter is that anime does not fit in DBD and never had. This is not an anime game, this is a slasher horror game. Slashers do not come from anime.

Compared to all the other killer themes, Ghoul's theme is so mid. I also just hate the anime music, I think it doesn't fit in DBD at all. If you listened to all the other killer themes, they all share the similar tone. But this is straight up just anime music, it doesn't tap into DBD's tone at all.

Not really, there are some good awfull killer themes like knight and skullmerchant or nurse, but as someone who has played since beta, I personally liked how bhvr has handled the game, they have offered horror from so many different media from analog horrow with unknown to anime with ghoul.
Also dbd is as horror game for like the first 20 hours, then its a horror themed asymetrical game, and its nice to have multiple horrors not just dude in a mask.
And while they have dropped the ball with killers like SM, they have produced marvels like unknown and spirit, they also have cool powers unlike most classical killers in the game who have boring mechanics.

The old maps atmosphere was the best honestly. The signs were better too minus the infinites and stuff. They severely downgraded a lot of stuff through the years.

Have to disagree here. It's just not your taste. That's ok. There will be content that you will enjoy. I'm always glad for those that enjoy the chapters even if they are not my taste.
