QUESTION (FR)
How bad must most of y'all be to need this doodoo butt autoaim (aimbot) on The Ghoul? Y'all would not survive playing Siege (controller players don't get ANY aim assist, no one does! - the way it should be). BHVR! STOP BABYING THESE KILLERS AND LET THEM FEEL THE PAIN OF MISSING A SHOT DUE TO A BAD AIM. If this game had ranks, you all would be stuck hard copper BET, and people want to talk about "skill ceilings" on killers when the skill ceiling is on the floor! HA! No.

Ok?
Had a bad game?
5 -
No. It's just so laughable.
3 -
As someone playing the ghoul I dont want it either
5 -
Funnily enough, good players would be better without the auto-aim. I have seen many players hitting an already injured survivor, when they want to swing next to him.
7 -
- No one asked for it
- Auto aim (and aim dressing) in this game hurts better players more than it helps
- I'm pretty sure almost everyone here has played an FPS before
7 -
Yeah, I don't get threads like this. Pretty much everyone wants a smaller hitbox on his M2. That's both people playing him, and against him. Honestly, I don't even know who OP is talking crap to. Like you said, the players didn't ask for the massive hitbox.

How sad must you be that you come to this forum of a game not even remotely comparable (except that it's first person for killer), and tell people that they are bad because "they would't hit anything in rainbow six siege" (your point essentially) xD
Well now that we both insulted us each other:
Yes it should be toned down probably, sometimes you don't even need to look in the same direction xD
2 -
I don't think you understand. They want killers to win most of their games with no skill. Killer is baby easy mode.

Hey autoaim is nice for us playing on console, you know, the majority of the playerbase. It's great to have a strong killer that plays well on console
-5 -
So what's your opinion on prayer tablet plague?
0 -
An impossible to miss ability that injures combined with the best mobility in the game is not healthy
7 -
- Where has it been said that console is the majority of the playerbase?
- Even if that's the case, do you then just ignore everyone on PC's feedback, even though their experiences are just as valid?
- The majority of the playerbase are survivor players (you need 4 of them for every 1 killer). According to your logic, the game should be centered around them and not killer players.
3 -
It's incredibly cheap. I have brought killer but highly doubt I will play them until they get fixed in my opinion.
3 -
This just confirms that the devs are killer mains and terrible ones at that.

Just making the radius the hitscan latches onto survivors smaller would be nice. I feel like there needs to be some give in it given the combo of DBD's weird hitboxes (see ye olde hatchet explanation) and the second hit being meant to be a ranged attack done at up to 22m/s (if sliding) as this isn't an FPS and missing would then just yeet you somewhere else and put you on CD (so the consequences are quite steep compared to "shoot again").
It'd make using it to go round survivors when they're injured and just play around things more fun, too.

Eh, it's an epidemic that has taken over the gaming industry. The skill floor in every multiplayer game is as low as it has ever been. Developers are terrified of any friction whatsoever that might cause a player to not spend money.
1 -
Agreed. Remove it.
2 -
Are you are one of those in general, okay I ignore the fact you wanted to compare it to a game not even remotely:
I agree by now that the autoaim is too huge. But if you want to tell me killer is easy mode I want you to show me a match where you play against a swf with several thousands of hours each and then come back to me telling me that. Only reason killer is easy is because the matchmaking is bad most of the time, if it works you're in for a good fight with most killers.
-3 -
Who hasn't since that abomination got released? I've stopped playing.
2 -
If that was the case, Behavior would have extended that to other ranged killers.
They wouldn't extend that to additionally include PC players.
Even if you think that's unfair, the same point applies. It takes no skill to auto aim on your opponent.
I have played FPS/TPS, Fortnite specifically and there is a reason why auto aim is not introduced in other games. Behavior announced potential KB&M enhancements I believe in the future, so why single out Kaneki here? Hm, I think money perhaps.
Like you, I'm on console and it's dreadful playing Huntress - where is her reticle and auto aim? Same for Deathslinger and Trickster, like lol.
2 -
The majority of DBD players are PC. I don't really know where that notion came from, lol.
1 -
Me too at least for tonight. Survivor has been miserable. One huntress which I was happy about until team started crying and doing themselves in. One blight which snowballed quick and the rest against them. Might play other killers myself tomorrow.
They feel so cheap even around loops or when vaulting pallets they can catch you so easy. Proxy camping and tunneling ability make the game a laughing stock.
Since update I'm also getting bad frame pacing and stutter which makes my OLED have gamma flicker. Before patch it was mostly perfect. That alone I would have refused to buy killer. I thought lesson might have been learnt as a while back a patch was even worst for this.
I refuse to play killer I don't find cheapness fun.
1 -
Good catch, I didn't even notice that point lol.

How do you know?
PS usually pulls the same or slightly less numbers than PC does on popular games.
Xbox usually pulls half or so.
Both games have been either free on PS+ (iirc) or free with GamePass for years. DBD is almost always in the best-selling tab on the Store on Xbox and on the Most Played tab in GamePass.
It is also on Switch, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It is on a considerable number of systems. It would make far more sense if Console was the majority of players, not PC considering these facts.
So, again, where's the proof?
1 -
Consoles are more accessible, so without concrete evidence - along with the introduction of cross progression.
Even then the talking point is that console players should get an inherent advantage when that shouldn't be the case at all.
Behavior saying that they put autoaim on the character doesn't hold water when compared to other ranged killers and they don't hold the same lethality as a Kaneki.
So, using that point (not you, the above poster) holds no argument here. There are people who play Siege on console with no auto aim and are perfectly fine, putting auto aim on a hit scan character was a bad decision and them saying it's for console players accessibility means nothing if it's not applied to other ranged killers, not accessible to PC players, or outright removing it (what I would advocate for) - you should not have an advantage over your opponent because of your platform choices or an auto aim being built into the character - the semantics of player base and who is the majority doesn't matter.

I was asking how they knew PC had more players.
I somewhat agree with the OP. BHVR made a Killer too accessible instead of putting in proper controller settings

hehe im so sad noooooo. fr tho its because im sick of this hand holding and everyone saying that most survs are just bad for not being able to counter dumb killer mechanics when the reality of it is, killer is the easiest its ever been and the only reason most people can uphold these ridiculous streaks is because the killer role is TOO easy. The point of this post is to express my concern for killer being TOO EASY. Gotta make some noise to be heard type sheee

i play on console. dont need autoaim unless youre doodoo. sorry.

thanks love u
1 -
Yeah, I get it but I didn't want the conversation to veer off into a semantics argument.
Regardless of who is the majority, Behavior should make the game more accessible in general - not specifically tied to this niche example of a killer of Kaneki.
More button variety (it would be nice to have drop item button be different from interactions), Deception being on a different button prompt as you Deception and go into the next locker (surprised they didn't put that in when buffing Deception), better accessibility with certain killers and certain survivor perks as a whole.
Auto aim and hit scan isn't a core component of making it more accessible for console players and I hate that Behavior decided to make Kaneki a special exception but outright ignore community grievances for years.
No need for exceptions here and it's mind boggling to have such a killer be so oppressive with the Go Next mentality survivors already have — completely out of touch.

i agree on that the ghoul currently is in an unbalanced state. but i dissagree on bhvr babying the killer role when the majority of the "operation health" changes are given to survivors. Killers still lack the ability to see hookstates (it doesnt promote tunneling bc if a killer wants to tunnel theyll just remember the pfp) map design is a massive issue imo (this goes both ways: example badham and the dnd map). im happy to discuss this further as long as its done in a respectfull manner (non of this wah wah bhvr babies this or that)
-1 -
operation HEALTH !!!! they were necessary changes put forward to fix the HEALTH of the game and improve fluidity of matches! get out of here with that bs LMFAO lets not discuss PFFt
1 -
Woah calm your horses i was not attacking you there i wholeheartingly agree that its needed. Sadly bhvr is kind of shooting themselves in the foot with their current killer/map design (wich both suck massivly imo) (sidenote attacking other forum users for their opnion on the matter does not help your statements!)

Lol at whoever says this gives console an advantage over PC. Sorry console has been completely neglected since this game's inception. We don't get reshade to make the red stain as bright as the sun or go through walls. We can't do flicks on killers like Oni, Blight, Chucky, etc. like PC players can
1 -
Most survivor games are lost, even against those killers you mentioned, because they don't really try, it happens so often that I win matches way more easily or even at all because 1-2 people give up for no reason. The problem is more that many survivors simply don't want to work for their win and give up as soon as it's a little harder.
If you really think that people only lose because of specific killers you're are missleaded, people put that on themself. Ken is the best current example, he is strong yes - but he's not even nearly as close at blight or nurse as some people want to tell you, people are getting better now at playing against him and it's way harder to win now. There are matches where you instantly win because someone gives up instantly or the people don't know how to play against him yet, but if they really try and know more or less how to play against him you have really good matches.
Also most streaks are a combination of bad matchmaking against people with several thousands of hours on a specific killer, of course people lose then, everything else would be more concerning in my opinion.
I still agree that the autoaim should be tonned down and hits through walls should be fixed, but other than that he's fine.
And lastly: you won't reach people if you start a conversation by insulting them with an comprehension not even remotely sensefull, people will rather place you on a spott of someone you can simply ignore. That's the wrong kind of attention xD

I'm sorry, that your experience has been that awful.
Hope you have found something else that makes you happy in your leisure time ^🐽^

Thank you! I've been playing a bit of inZOI and a few other games while waiting for updates to The Ghoul. I'll return once the changes are made, but for now, I just can't bring myself to open DBD.

Have fun playing it! Heard a lot of good things about it.
Looking forward to see you back in the fog sometime in the future.
