I'm not really enjoying it that much because of multiple reasons. I am a solo survivor player by the way.
85% of matches is kaneki swinging across the map.
Survivor teammates who just hide and heal and not do generators. (Sometimes you have to be bold and confront the pressure)
The new killer that is just very hard to counter and feels unfair. Especially with the fact they they can vault through pallets, hit you from large distances (even through pallets and walls), and tailgate you with leaps. He is a sweaty killer's trump card.
Playing with kaneki feels like having a base kit no mither for all survivors lol.

I love playing "get gen rushed and screwed over unless you play a hyper mobile killer and keep chase pressure every second" the event.

Lots of killers and perks unplayable. Makes gens fly too fast. No special event things for the killer to do at all, just a normal match where you're nerfed. Why play that as killer other than for the quests? Blood point gains are also very low.
After quests were done I just switched back to the normal game.

No it feels Iike a chore to do gens because all the little ones mostly replace them. It feels like the games drag out. A for attempt, E for effort and overall a F for failure.

Killer has no incentive to play there and the fuel gens cant be stopped or regressed and get repaired WAY too fast... and survivor is miserable as always being tunneled and slugged for cheap 4ks

Prettymuch just a bigger bloodpoint grind with a much higher chance to lose based on triple generator speeds.
I mostly just play killer in it because the survivors have to fight eachother for points, while the killer gets most points even for losing. the killer is also always pressured to kill everyone in the fastest most efficient way (turbo tunneling, team slug the remaining 3) which makes survivor even less enjoyable. Not saying i try to tunnel right off the bat but everytime you chase someone 2-4 generators go off unless they are all in one area for some reason. Most of the game takes place with 1 generator left..

Am I enjoying the bloodpoints? Absolutely.
Am I enjoying the actual event gameplay? No, not at all on either side. Sometimes blood pumps spawn super far away from blood gens and it's tedious for survivor, sometimes they spawn right next to blood gens and the killer can't really do anything. Half the games feel like they're decided by RNG, not to mention a lot of stuff just doesn't work with the blood gens which reduces build variety on both sides. Survivor BP gain in the event mode is atrocious as well. I actually completely stopped playing the event, I've only been queueing in normal mode for the last week or so and I'm not even going to finish some of the tome challenges that require playing the event since you don't need to do them all to reach the end and I already got all the rewards.

I like it.
But i don´t play super much. So annoyance is quite low.
Tomes were fast and not to difficult. At the moment a lot of BP.
I like the Blood gens - they look cool. And i like that there are new animations for the cans.

The core concept of the mode is fun, but they screwed up by making certain killers overpowered on the mode, other killers worthless and making generator perks not do anything. If they bring it back with these issues addressed I think it will be just as fun as the main game mode.

Taking gen regressing perks away from the killers made the whole event miserable

As survivor, yes.
As killer, less so, because half the perks are unusable and there is nothing engaging in it for killers.

As killer I loved the event. It felt like old dbd when gen use to get done fast and brings more challenge. The only time I didn't care for it was when we were on Hawkins but then again I hate that map as survivor too since I always get lost there. 😔
NOW as survivor, I HATED it. Other killers were tunneling and slugging like crazy. I haven't had a chill killer the whole time. It was so bad I stopped playing as survivor in general and just played killer for the remainder. As much as I really like to play with my friends, I'm not getting to play at all if I'm not running anti-slug, ds, or power struggle. And to be fair, the only reason I played the event was for the extra BP and in hopes to help killer farm the BP to max everything out.

Ive barely played it. The theme is neat. The gens and gas pumps for blood are really cool. Overall though, I don't like the experience at all from the killer side. Survivor side its fine.
