I'm a stats guy & a numbers guy but I have a lot going on personally & I work crazy hour weeks so I don't know if I'm losing my touch or all the damn variables in game are messing me up so!

As a survivor looking to maximise blood points

Bloodshot eye or escape cake / bps?

I've run both & both have given wildly different end game points, but those are of course also match dependent & who else uses what offerings.

My last Bloodshot eye for example about 50k game one before that 130k

Cakes have also proved to give wild variations while bps or anniversary cakes have led to extreme tunneling in every game i've used one 🤷🏻‍♂️

Play how you want but I'm not using offerings to reward my teammates or myself being hard tunnelled at 5 gens

I also admit I have no desire to do blood gens unless they're right there, probably my 2nd most disliked thing they ever put in an event after lights out.

Any help much appreciated!

    i played a few games last night before i gave up, i learned that bringing a BPS got me more total BP's than the Eyes. But i guess its dependent on the other offerings in the match so it just depends.

    The eye only doubles the event score. The cake doubles everything after the match. This isn't even a contest (at least, not at this stage – maybe once we get to late in the event if we hit one of the high BP targets it'll matter more).

    If I were a less lazy person, I'd do a graph of multiplicative one score vs additive 100%, but I think it's cake if you can't guarantee multiple BPS until 200%, at minimum. Of course, that assumes getting some event score, and they made that wildly uneven; it really needs tweaking. Like, right now.

    Thanks I stuck to cakes last night, almost out though so will have to switch to party streamers even if it seems to make games worse for some reason 😂

    Cakes are better, but I just use the Eyes regardless. Simply because I can only use them in this event and every Cake I have can still be used afterwards.

    Cake is way better. I've never gotten more than 25k points from the blood score events, usually it's 15-20k, so a Blood eye would only double that. While with a 100% booster you can double the regular BP gains which is often gonna be higher than 25k.

    Not only that, but if everyone brought anniversary cakes/bps then everyone gets the bonuses too. If you have cakes or other 100% bp boosters, I'd use them unless you're almost out and want to save them for later.

    Yeah don't see the point of wasting cakes when you get offering that can only be used in this event. I rather use the cakes when there is no even specific offering to use.
