Abandonig the game doesn't work correctly

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: The abandon mechanic doesn't work well. I abandoned the game and got a leaving penalty.
PLATFORM: Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I clicked on the abandon button to abandon the game after I was slugged. Two teammates were dead, the other teammate was on the hock and I was slugged. I abandoned the game right at the moment where I got picked up. It said I "abandon" but not leave the game. I should have kept my Bloodpoints and shouldn't get a leaving penalty. I'm not sure if I lost my Bloodpoints, but I got a leaving penalty. Either the abandon button shouldn't be shown after the conditions aren't met anymore or the leaving penalty shouldn't be applied.
