I finished 3 blood gens, and in the end is like i did nothing of that category. I also escaped twice… yes, only twice on this event because ghoul…you know. AND NEVER PIPPED!!! In my opinion you should always pip after escaping but.. At least makes your bloody actions worth something.

How am i getting 40k points and dont get ANY PIP?!?!!?

In this pic I did 3 blood gens and we could make the 5 gens… I died but i was in chase for 120 seconds at least (i had a daily ritual with soma), and maybe it doesnt count bc of plaything, who knows. BUT WHAT THE HECK THIS EVENT.. IM STILL ASH IV after 12 games!!!

    i am also having trouble pipping after this event dropped, whether im playing the Blood Moon Event or just the Regular game mode, i cannot pip no matter how hard i try, im iri 4 and would like to get to iri 1 before rank reset for my 1 mil bp, but it seems like its not going to happen because for some reason i just cant gain even 1 pip after multiple games where i would have previously pipped

    my 2 most miserables games were the oens when I completed 3 new gens by myself and got 0 points from that, and the one where a ghoul tunneled me since the very beginning of the game, I couldnt even escape a chase or run or help anything... got 7k bp in that match, with 2 cakes in the lobby

    If you haven't got the iri rank 1 by now then I'd say don't bother, just go killer and farm BP. Can get 1mil BP in a few matches.

    They are forcing everyone to play as killer I would say. First, the new killer is op af, and then, you NEVER pip! I had matches with lots and lots of points and no pip, even escaping. Every event is even more frustrating.. At least I know I'm not the only one noticing it. So let's see if they do something.

    Blood gens don´t count as gens, so you don´t get pips in that category. If you want to pip to get to iri rank play the normal mode.

    Blood Gens do not pip you, they don't count for Lightbringer or Destruction points as Killer.

    So basically, like with 2v8 not giving pips, it's a test to see if people want more BP gain overall to sacrifice pipping I think. I believe the Devs may be testing doing away with pips and ranking altogether, and focusing on score and BP gain being higher like this is an arcade game. It alongside the higher BP cap may be a precursor to adjusting MMR to be more open, and removal of Grades/Pips.

    Frankly, I think that would be a much healthier change for the game - make MMR seem meaningless by making grade and pips obsolete, and then just have matches be about scoring as many points as you can through any means. I think maybe the Grade system contributes to sweat by giving people a "rank up" goal to achieve, thus making them sweat harder to get what they want. You may think it doesn't affect you but psychologically, your brain wants number to go up. That includes Grades. If they just drown you in BP anyway, why does Grade or Pipping matter, why not just get rid of it? It seems people have more fun in the game when they go for grinding BP anyway.
