Zombie detects the survivor but doesn't chase the survivor off the generator
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Zombies detected a survivor but doesn't initiate a chase thus they go crazy.
PLATFORM: PS5 Digital
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Play Nemesis. Zombie detects a survivor that's on a generator. Zombie doesn't care and goes breakdancing.

I think it's a mix of how the zombie detection is programmed and the map tile or generator collision. If you notice the props in-game such as this tree or generator you see in the video of the Temple of Purgation, this zombie detects the survivor but at the same time it doesn't so it's in the middle of "Should I chase this survivor or should I continue to investigate or patrol?" that's where the code chooses both actions.
Same thing with the giant holes in RPD or Midwich. Like the zombie 'sees' the survivor but a pixel of static meshes is in the way so it can't really see them. That's my assumption anyway.

I'm unsure if the developers of this game want to share detailed information but trying never hurts.
