Kill Switch update: We have temporarily disabled The Legion due to an issue that allows for infinite power spam. The Legion will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

I just don't understand the rationale behind Ghoul design.

Every other mobility killer has to hard commit to their dashes in a way that makes there room for punishment if you mess up.

So why does this Killer get to cancel his dash with zero slowdown or recovery? What even is the point of playing Legion or Wesker?

I already know the answers, just venting because this killer is quickly approaching Skull Merchant tier and fast.

because he can't down with his power and gets no info rmation he can only cut you off from a loop which is why he can cancel and cut you off from loops

    Simple answer, bad design.

It is okay in the anti-loop around loops. But when we are talking about how he punish transitionning from loop to loop it's just undoubtedly bad design.

My favorite comparaison is with blight and billy. They can punish longer transitionning to another loop but there is still counterplay available. Billy has to land chainsaw (objects, crouch tech...), and blight you can mindgame around an object (crouch tech, whiff prediction...), it's still not over yet. Also the fact that blight don't get a free injury so you can afford to take a hit if healthy.

This killer is leap, cancel, M1, dead. Wow, great design.

Also around some small open maps, his mobility is so great that he isn't punished for not commiting to anything since he can be on top of anyone almost instantly. Getting juiced a bit top much, change target immediately. Even blight can't do that. You get juiced injure the guy, change target, first guy gets healed. You find someone out of position but he whiffs your power. You take extra time to zone him and injure him but now you have to wait 5 charges... etc etc

In this scenario for ghoul it's the first guy don't get healed because it's a waste of time. The second guy out of position if healthy gets injured for free with 0 counterplay and you can change target if he reaches strong tiles, if he's already injured and out of position, welp, he's dead...

I don't believe he's stronger than blight but he doesn't seem design to work well on all maps ngl.

Cause otherwise you couldnt use this as a cashcow until you "fix" it.

The design is fine he's just overtuned. Once they nerf his recovery and cooldowns he'll feel better to face
