Alaric Morven was an eccentric and reclusive nobleman, known in the shadowy alleys of London as a scholar of the occult. Fascinated by the myths of lycanthropy, he obsessively sought the werewolf’s curse. After years of rituals and sacrifices, he uncovered an ancient tome that promised the ultimate gift: transcendence of the human form.
On a foggy night near Highgate Cemetery, Alaric completed the ritual. But what he released was no gift... it was a primal, savage, and eternal spirit that consumed him. Now, his soul is intertwined with the creature — a beast with black fangs, golden eyes, and claws like scythes.
When the Fog of the Entity called, he followed without hesitation, finding in the Realm of Terror an eternal hunting ground.
Appearance:
Alaric in his werewolf form is a mix of dark elegance and bestial savagery: he wears remnants of his noble attire (a tattered black tailcoat, a bloodstained shirt, and a Victorian vest). His head is lupine, with a wide, twisted jaw. He walks hunched, with a threatening posture, and his fur is as black as the night fog. His eyes glow like lanterns in the dark.
Weapon: Ebony Claws
Long, jet-black claws that appear to be forged from obsidian. When he strikes, he slashes with swift, predatory movements.
Power: “Mistborne Hunter”
Description: The London Fog follows him. He can switch between two stances: Human Form and Beast Form.
Human Form:
- Walks upright, slower, but can interact with map elements normally (break pallets, kick generators).
- Can activate transformation into Beast Form with a brief roar.
Beast Form:
- Runs faster and can use a special attack called “Lupine Rush.”
- Cannot break pallets or interact with generators but can vault obstacles more easily.
Lupine Rush: Charges forward in a straight line, knocking down the first survivor hit and applying the Deep Wound status effect.
Passive: While in Beast Form, leaves a trail of fog behind him, reducing visibility and hindering nearby survivors' actions.
Unique Perks:
🩸 Shadow Predator
You know where the prey is going before it even flees.
After hooking a survivor, for 6/8/10 seconds, see the auras of all survivors within 16 meters of the hook. If someone is healing or sabotaging, their aura appears glowing red.
🌫️ Ancient Mist
The mist shields you and reveals fear.
Every 40 seconds, a field of thick fog expands around you for 10 seconds (24-meter radius). Within this field:
- Survivors suffer -5% action speed
- Footsteps are twice as loud
- Scratch marks are more visible
🐾 Bestial Instinct
Your scent guides your path.
After 20 seconds without seeing a survivor, the aura of the nearest survivor is revealed for 3/4/5 seconds. This effect resets each time a survivor is seen or injured.
