Your Blood Moon builds? <3
Hey everyone, since the Blood Moon is encouraging us building outside of the usual generator perks, what builds are you all using?
This is currently my favourite go to right now, I'm using it on dredge and other killers like Xenomorph, to help get me constant information on what the team is working on and where.
On survivor side I'm using head on a lot with iron will to fight back against Ghoul Players and mix up my strategy, with counterforce and inner strength since there is a lot of hex perks.
Do you have any fun builds you'd like to share?

Spies and Brutal are my go to

Spies from the shadows I don't see very much when I face killers, it's always an "OH!" moment when you realise how they track you and they have it in the endgame screen, its cool.

I played a game on Knight with this build: Lethal Pursuer, Starstruck, Agitation, and Awakened Awareness. It was on Temple of Purgation of all maps, ans this build snowballed hard. I had a stun-happy Steve who was trying to sabo hooks, and the aura reading coupled with the enhanced movement speed completely invalidated his game plan. Eventually, I snowballed when I caught 2 people fresh off a hook rescue, because Awakened Awareness showed me their auras and Starstruck made them easy downs. Coupled with the patrol, break, and chase capabilities of guards, it was an easy 4K at 4 gens left.
I also had a 4K game with a totem build on Singularity. It was Thrill, Plaything, Dominance, and Devour. The gameplan was pretty much to make them waste as much time as possible on totems, preferably ones that weren't Devour. I did 4K, although I'm not sure how much of that is owed to the weird fact that survivors can't carry EMPs and Blood Cans at the same time. To be fair, I did get to 5 stacks of Devour and got a kill with it, so I think this build works.

What's made Spies so good in Blood Moon? Has Spies been a sleeper pick recently?

Yea matches where the killer circumvents the mechanics for the blood cans. Sadako, singularity, and the like
Have a distinct advantage.1 -
Honestly I just find it hard to find people in this event. Eventually you know where the blood gens are, its progressed but there's no survivor there. Are they there? Are they getting another can? If so, from which pump?
That, and Fixated is fairly popular. I try to just kill everybody faster than they can escape.

On Nemesis I'm using an Omega Chaser build, of sorts.
Bamboozle - Brutal Strength - Enduring - Superior Anatomy
The whole point of this build is to stay in chase as much as you can. Vault windows faster and not lose survivors, get rid of pallets faster (especially if they happen to stun you), etc. No gen defense, pure brute chase force.
Add-ons can be anything, I just like to run Marvin's Blood + Licker Tongue because I'm original like that.
On Dark Lord I've been running a Devour build.
Dominance - Hex: Devour Hope - Hex: Thrill of the Hunt - Hex: Undying
Essentially this entire build is just Devour Hope with 3 things to protect it. For add-ons, I found the two yellow ones that increase Teleport distance and speed to be quite useful since it allows you to patrol and defend totems more easily.1 -
urban evasion, the one that allows you to walk faster, quick and quiet , and made for this against ghoul...

As killer I'm going full aura-reading tbh. Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage, BBQ and Lethal Pursuer are there in all my builds. The last slot depends, sometimes I go full aura and run Predator (really nice as Artist), other times I try to go for a sort of secondary objective slowdown perk and choose Hex: Plaything. If there are many medkits I go for Franklin's Demise, or for Lightborn if there are a bunch of Flashlights. It depends a lot on the killer, on whatever the survivors are bringing into the trial and on which tome challenges I'm trying to get done.

I am playing exclusively Kaneki during the event, because with all other killers, the gens just fly like they are going out of business.I am all for this new mechanic in general and mixing survivor gameplay up, but without any form of gen defense and how fast they can be completed by working together, its just insurmountable pressure with most other killers.
But after my fair share of Friends till the End, Dissolution and Rapid Brutality, I am now a bit more chill just adopted a devious endgame build, just to make survivors sweat really hard when they think that they are nearly out.
Spies (my go-to info perk that I play in basically any build)
None are Free - No Way Out - Remember me: just a very evil endgame combo. If you manage to get full stacks, then the endgame is really no fun for survivors. I also had so many situations where I closed the hatch and watched survivors die at the exit gate switch, as the lamps turned agonizingly slow to red. I think if you manage to close the hatch before the survivors touch the gate, there is only a miniscule 10s window for them to start the exitgates after the switches come unblocked. Its really evil and even if you don't get it powered up completely, it still makes the endgame a lot of fun and gives you a surprising amount of free kills.
Just be ready for some salt.

Spies was always a good perk to get an idea where a survivor might be. I also like to play it and get some good value from it. Unlike aura reading perks, it basically always triggers and ignores Distortion and OTR. It is a nice perk for killers that need decent information to find survivors.

I run brutal, no way out, forever entwined and sloppy

I am not sure how much Forever Entwined throws off survivors flashlights, but is sure seems to be working, as I got a lot of tight getaways when I played it.

Oh i just use it cus its smooth af to use, but ye its useful for save prevention fs

Lethal, Barbecue, Forever Entwined, Leverage.
Leverage isn't as good on all killers but it's really good on some, it's helpful as an automatic non generator slowdown0 -
I use what I use on normal que iron will ,made for this cause ghoul, calm spirit and distortion. Tbh distortion, calm spirit and iron will is perm. My 4th switch base on how I feel.
Until bvhr do something with all the out of hand aura stacking and I hate friends til end. Also I do not see no one talk about it but I seen a uprise of spies from shadows since chucky release hence calm spirit even though it may screw me over if killer has hex build remains.
Wesker/kaneki/doc= anti heal build which is clown perk, no quarter, distressing, unnerving
Sadly I can't find a build for vecna or trickster.

Haunted Ground + Retribution.
The other two perks are changing.

Mostly endgame builds. I want survivors to finish the generators so we make more progress towards the event BP bonus.
Side note, the number of people who get salty about NOED on an M1 killer like Freddy or Vecna with a full endgame build is quite funny.
When I point out that my entire build is endgame perks, they don't care.
In case you wanted to know the critical thinking skills of people who get mad about NOED.

Taking a break from my P100 ghostie and doing unknown with
A Nurse's Calling
Human Greed
Weave Attunement
Trail of torment
and using his addons that make survivors oblivious and exhausted when near any of the clones
Essentially going all in on jumpscare attacks XD

I like shadow step on survivor or lockers for friends til the end when it's common, Head on is my best friend for stealth mix ups because I have a backup to protect myself if it goes wrong… in most cases LOL
