Would moris be ok if...

I mean I'm pretty sure there are multiple people that would not want this at all, but personally I would like that. I always felt like Moris, Ebony Moris in particular just have so much effect on the game and make the killer so much more powerful. Some compensation would be nice though if killers get such powerful tools nerfed. Getting rid of insta heals for example, those are also extremely powerful.

I like mori's but, I would have to agree if it is your last hook and you're downed then why do you have to carry them to a hook? It always seems kind of weird that you need an offering to kill by your own hand. If all hope is lost for the survivor then why not give the opportunity to just mori them?

Well...
I kinda like the way moris are handled at this moment. I would like to see another mori that is not THAT rare but still rare, that has the exact same effect like you tell. You have to be hooked TWICE. And then only for one person.
That would be cool. But i would like to have the Ebony just pushed up in rarity. That would make it fine then.

I think a great starter nerf to moris would be to make it so that they can only be used when everyone has been hooked at least once0

That would ruin the offering completly.1 -

I don't think Mori's need any changes. They already aren't that common.

We should nerf moris. Definitely. They should only be usable after a survivor successfully uses DS, regardless of times hooked.
In seriousness, DS should be an earned skill available for every survivor in each match. As penalty, a killer should be able to mori any survivor that uses DS successfully.

Ebony is at the highest Rarity tier already. It's ultra rare by default which is why it function the way it does. There is no reason to change mori offerings in the slightest as they are already very conditional and Ebony being the rarest one is hard to come by. Mori is supposed to have a heavy effect on the game when used as it is the killer's biggest trump card and unlike survivor gear you can't just black ward to get repeated uses.

Moris are fine as they are, as long as there are insta-heals in the game.

it would ruin it for the worse killers that dont rly deserve the kills. I don't see a problem with that
You should play killer for a while in the high ranks. That will change your view on a lot of things.

Nerf moris again?
Why?3 -
Moris are a good way to deal with 4 men SWF if you dont want to play as Nurse so...
No, dont nerf moris2 -
Being able to use an ebony only after second hook would make the offering basically pointless, except for the fun factor. I understand in its current state it's a strong offering, but that's why it's relatively rare. Plus, there's a partial but quite effective way to counter it: leave the guy hanging till the last second, if necessary, but make a hundred percent sure you only do a safe rescue. And no, this does not include those "wee I have Borrowed Time let's yolo save"actions.
Now to think of it, it looks like an ebony (or ivory) mori is a very good educational tool.
And don't forget, most of us prefers a Survivor Pudding to any mori.

this is so true. Mori's should be for the killers satisfaction and the extra points, not for making the game easier

I don't use Moris myself unless I need to do a ritual that requires I mori people. But if I use it for fun well the nerfs suggested will take the fun away from people like me.
Also the whole point of a mori is to make life easier for those using it as it knocks players out the game. The nerfs would just promote super tunneling as you'd have to invest on the person whom you hooked to use the mori. Making it more unfun for survivors, so please, rethink your statement.

Change the Cypress Mori to this: Instead of the last survivor, any one survivor on his last hook. Cypress Mori deserves to be used more and this way it hardly makes any difference for the match.

How's it different, killers already tunnel survivors when they have a mori anyway, it just makes it less OP

Mori s are fine as is because they are rare and if you pay attention during offerings you will see it and play a little more safely. Heck with the introduction of pausing to see offerings you could see the killer has a secret offering and play a little more safely0

Not all killers. Besides, you cannot tell me sometimes you want to get rid of that flashlight clicking, t-bagging survivor out the match quicker. Plus if I know a killer is running a mori it incentives stealth. You actually hinder the fear of moris because you basically get a second chance.
As you said it wouldn't change much, but IT WOULD give more pressure to killers to tunnel the first person they hook because there is a greater chance for that survivor to not get moried if it required a second hook. Especially if it's a ivory.

I do see where you're coming from, however i'd rather be tunneled than be against something so OP. When i play killer and use a mori, i usually don't even use it untill the person has been hooked twice, as i just think it's too OP

To each their own. But that is your playstyle, and I have my own. I'd rather moris not get touched right now. Especially when I run Dying Light and need my obsession out as soon as possible.
