Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Are the changes to haste and hindered a nerf to the killer more than suvivor?

Killer have many add-on , basekit ( killer's power) and perk about haste and hindered.

Survivor have only perk.

So killer get nerfed more than survivor in this change?

Is that more than the killer side?

Killer' power like Clown, Skull merchant, Singurality, Freddy, Dracula ( wolf form ), knight and Trapper. ( All have basekit about haste and hindered )

Add-on like : Ghost face's Leather kinfe sheath, Legion's Bffs.

Perk like : Play with with your food, Rapid brutality, Battery included, No one escape death, Machine learning, Forced hesitation and Game a foot.

Oh I'm not saying it's more, I'm just saying they have stuff too, one of them is one of the more complained about sometimes which is MFT + Hope

Certain killers are hit harder than survivors (Clown and Singularity being the main ones imo), but from my experience survivors run Haste builds much often than killers. So I would say that it's more or less the same for both sides. Though it's hard to say when some killers will be hit hard by these changes (like the two are mentioned) whereas others will barely notice (like, idk, Doctor or Artist). Personally I don't like these nerfs at all, no matter the side.

They also only upgraded two killer perks to slightly higher haste in compensation…and one of those literally just makes killers run away from hooks faster which survivors want anyway. Survivors got a load of haste buffs on existing perks.

Yes, they are OBJECTIVLY more a nerf to killer than survivor. There are A LOT of killers that have a small haste buff as an addon or part of their power who can now not use a lot of the perks in the game.

This is one of those "better in the long run" changes that will make general balancing easier and allow individual perks to have stronger effects when created. Clown will most likely feel it the worst among all killers.

It's hard to say. Killers should be able to be faster if it takes their whole build like it does, especially since it kind of fixes the broken loops in the game. But if it's a trade-off that kills the survivor Haste abuse, I'll take it. Nobody likes chasing a survivor for 2 minutes+ guaranteed because they had a perk. This is why you can't make a direct comparison between a killer having Haste and a survivor having it. With the exception of NOED, or looping around a done gen with Batteries Included, killers don't really have infinite Haste capability, but survivors with Made For This, Hope, Dark Theory, Blood Pact, they can pretty much go infinite. The loops are not designed for survivors to be going faster than base speed, especially god loops which under those circumstances become infinites. But killer is designed (at least theoretically) to catch survivors.
