Tunneling To "Git Gud"

I'm wondering, as of late, I've been playing alot of Nurse on PS4. But while I get good with her, I've found myself constantly using what would be considered and what I myself consider scummy tactics in order to keep pressure. The survivors did nothing to me (under any normal circumstances had I been playing Amanda or Hag) that constitute tunneling. So the real question is and this can apply to anybody, is it ok to tunnel not because a certain situation makes you, but in order to keep pressure while at the same time improving at the game?

Play the way you need to get the job done! (Mighty and intimidating pose while saying that)

Well to me the best way to git gud at console nurse is practicing chases. So if you haven't found someone by the time they unhook returning to the hook makes sense. Chasing the uninjured survivor at that point for practice would be the correct choice.

I'd easily forgive any tactics you use playing nurse on PS4.

Its always ok to tunnel, just like its ok to tunnel gens.
Its just how you play optimally, call it scummy, but it is what it is. Not our fault that BHVR has designed this game that way

when i play killer i try not to push an specific survivor so much, i mean hang him more than one time in a row, and even let them some room to play but the gen rush is really hard and if you want a single kill you have to face camp so, untill they fix the gen rush you can play as dirty as you consider needed to win your pip.
PD: im a survivor main and i can understand that sometimes the killers needs to camp.

Do what you will to win. You are opposing sides, you're not supposed to be friends (within the context of the game)

Personally I've noticed tunneling is actually bad in terms of playing efficiently.

I have recently started giving up on chases everytime after about half a minute if I don't catch the survivor right away and I noticed people would get caught off guard near gens as they thought I'd still be in the chase giving me quicker hooks and more map pressure as I stop them from doing gens and chase them somewhat evenly.

This strategy is possible with any killer who can travel big distances quickly with his/her ability (nurse, legion, spirit, billy, hag, wraith) and allows all players to get bloodpoints, pips and simply have a good time overall while giving you the chance to practice chasing against multiple people.

I'm on PS4 also play how you want. I have been tunneled and camped and playing the other side i have done both also when needed. I don't take it personal.

Tunneling is the opposite of applying pressure, because while you're buisy with one survivor the others (if they're smart) will just rush the gens.
Do it to get better at chases (especially if the survivor is good) but then consider that being killer is not just blindly chasing someone, so learn also when it's time to drop a chase and protect gens.

Who cares man? The premise is someone gets caught 1st... and when that happens it is up to you how to roll with it.

Being nice is being nice, but killers are entitled to kill their prey for the entity.
