Why dbd takes 5min at least to get into the match?
Seriously, most multiplayer games 1min and you into the match - rocket league, starcraft 2 etc. DBD you sit in loading screens and when lobby screens for 5+ min, my favorite 6sec survivor dodgers, why this thing isn't mainstreamed yet? 1min lobbies are redunded, if you pressed ready, you are ready, put 5 people into a match and let's go! Massive loading screen at the start is questionable when other multiplayer games don't have it. Personally when I have around 20min to kill dbd is not the game I turn on and never will be until this thing is fixed.

Because they are clueless when it comes to making survivor an enticing role to play and balance for the 20 percent rather than the 80 of the playerbase.
I'd not care if I was losing if I could actually interact with the killer.5 -
There aren't enough people willing to queue up as survivor.

I find it depends mostly on time of day and the role you choose. If you play in the late afternoon and evening, or even at night, lots of people are playing survivor with their friends so killer queue is instant while survivor queue takes a few minutes. Whereas if you play in the morning or early afternoon there are more people playing alone, so far more than 20% of the players are playing killer which means long killer queues and instant survivor queues.

When the game is unbalanced and unfun for one side, queues don't work. Simple as.

I mean, other game's have millions of players, so it makes sense that they can offer fast matchmaking. Not to mention that other games are generally easy to pick up and learn. Meanwhile, this game requires hundreds of hours just to get a decent understanding of how to play. Meaning that matching players of equal skill becomes even harder to do with it's limited playerbase.

Why are you comparing an asymmetrical game with symmetrical games?
