There was a glitch at some point when the tutorials were introduced. I am sorry to say I am of the bunch that abused it to get easy matches with friends.
This however is disgusting and needs fixing.

I'm asking because it's nothing new if swf. It's known to get a rank 20 into your team so you verse low ranks. But it would be something new if everyone was solo in this matchRebel_Raven said:

Isn't there a system that takes both ranks and goes through a medium rank?
(If someone was rank 1 and their friend was rank 10, then the killer they'd match up to would be rank 4-8?)

I totally agree, the matchmaking is absolute garbage but I usually only have such huge problems when in SWFs.
I played with a friend in duos when he just started playing DbD. This is how the lobby ended up like (He's top with most points, I'm the guy that died and the others were randoms, not part of our group):

Once my friend and I, both of us having a high rank, were matched with a 20-rank killer: at the end of the trial, we wrote to them to apologize for their awful experience.

Yeah, when I was on PS4 a bunch of my friends and I would do it too.
We were never bullies, never mean, we just got really tired of toxic tryhards from both sides in Red Rank, not proud that we did it but it was a nice change. Sometimes we'd be nice and die on purpose to make it seem like we got outplayed tho.

It's because nobody is playing this game anymore. They have to open up the rank and region so wide because its taking survivors 20 minutes to find games. So this is going to keep happening as time goes on because this game is rapidly losing a player base because everyone, killer and survivor, are so toxic.
And no i don't mean using THAT perk, teabagging, camping etc. Those are in game mechanics.
I mean they're spamming hate mail after every game, DCing every game, lobby dodging etc. The game is becoming almost unplayable because of the community. This is the only viable solution.0 -

It's not a SWF, this same thing just happened to me last night as well as a solo. It's not super common though.
