Exhaustion Perk Tier List

Introduction

Welcome! This is going to be my Exhaustion Perk Tier List! To help new players choose for what exhaustion perk to go for. Don't get me wrong, all these perks are great but some are better then others. Also this is all MY opinion! Now, lets get started shall we?

1.Balanced Landing

Your agility is incomparable.
Cat-like reflexes reduce your stagger duration from falls by 75 %.

Upon landing, start sprinting at 150 % of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds if not exhausted.

Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.

"I've jumped from higher places." — Nea Karlsson

You do not recover from Exhaustion while running

Balanced Landing is Nea Karlsson's teachable perk at Lvl 30, and is in my opinion the best exhaustion perk, why you may ask?
Because it opens up more possibilities for loops! Some places where you couldn't run around before are now possible, because you don't get slowed nearly as much. How ever the problem with Balanced Landing is that some maps don't have many if any drops for you to drop. How ever it is still a great perk to use.

2.Dead Hard

Activate-able Perk.
You can take a beating. When Injured, tap into your adrenaline bank and dash forward quickly to avoid damage.

Press the Active Ability button while running to dash forward.
During the dash, you avoid damage.
Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.

You do not recover from Exhaustion while running.

"We were walkin' through t'ginnel one night when a beer bottle flew past me, then another, and another. I thought to myself
"Gonna 'ave some fun 'ere lads, let's get stuck in!' ". It were a right dust up, I swear down!" — David King

Dead Hard is David King's teachable perk at Lvl 35. This is a great perk that can alllow survivors to extend a chase for a little more. Usually if a killer doesn't know you have Dead Hard, they'll swing and you can activate it, slowing them down they just swung at nothing, which can give you an extra loop or 2. You may also be able to reach pallets or windows upon activating this perk. Which makes it very useful. How ever there are some counters. 1 being killers who are able to insta down (because you can only use Dead Hard while injured) And killers can simply wait until a survivor uses Dead Hard to swing.

3. Sprint Burst

When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150 % your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds.
Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.

Sprint Burst cannot be used while Exhausted.

You do not recover from Exhaustion while running

Sprint Burst is Meg Thomas' teachable perk at Lvl 35. This is a great perk for beginners, as some times you just wanna get away from the killer as fast as possible. If you're working on a generator and the killer gets close, you can use Sprint Burst to run to safety (aka a pallet or window). How ever this perk is activated as soon as you press the sprint button. Which means, you have to walk around if you want to save it. Nothing is stopping you from running around. How ever if the killer gets close and you're exhausted. You're out of luck.

4. Lithe

After performing a vault, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds.
Activates in Chases only.

Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.

You do not recover from Exhaustion while running.

"U mad?" — Feng Min

Lithe is Feng Min's teachable perk at Lvl 35. And you break into a sprint once you vault a window or pallet in a chase. Now the problem with that, is that some times the killer is close, but it doesn't count as a chase. So Lithe will not activate. Also, you can sometimes can hit threw a window/pallet. So you sacrifice a hit for a small burst of speed.
How ever, for all you survivors who don't like chases. Lithe is a great perk if you pair it up with Dance With Me

When performing a fast vault or leaving a Locker in a sprint, you leave no Scratch Marks for 3 seconds.
Dance With Me has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

"Another show's off and runnin',
Dance with me, cuz there's a storm a commin'
Follow my boots, try to keep up,
Dance with me, until sun up."
— Kate Denson's "Dance With Me"

Why are these are good combination you may ask? Because Lithe lasts for 3 seconds. And Dance With Me lasts for 3 seconds. So you have that burst of speed, and you leave no scratch marks. This can throw off the killer by simply vaulting a window, which can be extremely useful if you're IMMERSED.

The End!

Well, that's my tier list for the 4 exhaustion perks we have currently. Now I know I didn't include Adrenaline, that's because it doesn't really fit with the other exhaustion perks. I also used the DbD wiki for a lot of the descriptions used.

Can't really put Balanced Landing on the first spot because it's very situational, you might get a map that has hardly any places you can use it on and when in a chase you have to get to that place to make the best out of it.

I'd also put Sprint Burst at the bottom because most of the time you're just walking trying not to waste it which is plain boring.

I really like this list. I would have put them in the exact same order. balanced can make buildings like ironworks, the red forest one, or haddonfield etc. a nightmare (without the speed boost u get from it mind u). lithe definitely deserves to be at the bottom with how inconsistent it is lol

I do agree, Balanced Landing is very situational. How ever I do put it at the first spot simply because of its potential.
Sprint Burst you're not forced to walk around. 40 seconds might seem like a lot but it isn't really when you think about it.

Dead hard is my favorite but I agree with it being in the number 2 spot. Balance landing is no.1 in my opinion but lithe before sprint burst. This is just my opinion though.

    S: Sprintburst, Balanced Landing
    A: Dead Hard, Lithe

And no, you dont walk around with sprintburst. You sprint to the next gen and let it regen there. The only times its worth saving, is when you're repairing very unsafe generators in a deadzone. And usually only against oneshot killers (LF, billy, Myers whos been silent for a while). If you have to do something other than gens, let it regen to 99% and run around from there. You can pop it whenever you need it.
You cant go wrong with any exhaustion perk though. They're all good perks, i just find more unique versatility in sprintburst and balanced landing. Sprintburst gets you out of hopeless clutch situations (basement, tunneled, slugged, chainsawed) and (un)balanced landing breaks some maps and allows for vertical loops.
