Is it just me or is the lag getting worse?
My games have gotten laggier and laggier the last few days. Randomly freezing and stuttering even though my ping isn't that bad (around 60) and my connection is stable so I haven't been disconnected from the servers either.
I was just in a game where I suddenly froze in place and then suddenly I was hooked in the air (not on a hook). The other players told me it looked like cheating but I don't even know what happened.
I am just worried that due to this lag I could end up getting reported, even though I did nothing wrong. The thing I have been playing for a long time and never have I ever experienced lag like that, but the last few weeks, I did notice a notable increase in random lag spikes. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

I tried playing on the American servers last night with @HeroLives
It was not bad in my exerience, despite me being located in northern Europe. I sat at a constant 120-130 ping, and it did not feel choppy on my end.1 -
Interesting. So it's most likely a me-problem. That's even more worrying, but thanks for confirming that it's not happening to everyone.

It is. Yesterday was abysmal for me. But I guess the problem lies on BHVR and DbD's matchmaking. Last night I got people from Korea, Japan and South America… And I live in Finland. This shouldn't be possible.

yeah and my ping was solid, as was my teammate. No issues.

It shouldn’t be possible, but is it because BHVR refuses to enforce ping limits and they are totally fine with people abusing VPN.

It's not just you. I have footage from 2 consecutive games maybe 4-5 days ago. One was a Bubba and the other a Dracula –I was a survivor. The Bubba game is on Lerys, and I'm running holding W to a pallet consciously passing one to prevent a dead zone, and all of a sudden like magic the game bugs and I'm running TOWARDS the Bubba who was just behind me while now going in the opposite direction I was heading in. I reacted quick enough to spin him but I've never experienced that before.
The Dracula game was weird because it was stuttering to the point his flame power didn't even animate. I didn't see his hands move and I could only hear the power activate. It happened multiple times till I died with me just guessing where the flames were going.

I haven't noticed anything yet, but that doesn't mean something isn't going on.

Yes it is and has spells of high packet loss for me. Been going on for a while. Someone else on here mentioned it and was given the reply. "This looks like a technical issue."
Seemed to me like blaming their computer/network for it. lol

I had packet loss problems (marked by the double diamond symbol) multiple times during the event.
So, if I had to bet, the servers are just not working as they should. Nothing to worry about, and hoping that they fix it soon is the only thing we can do.
