So... Why do we still have overpowered Shape addons?
Like... Why did they not change them. Just today I faced two killers with free mori addons... Oh wow so fun to play 3v5 at 4-5 gens and have 0 hooks, so cool and balanced guys.

Myers needs a top-to-bottom redesign of his Power and add-ons. Evil Within is so antiquated and does not work with the way the game currently is. He's either totally useless or incredibly frustrating to play against depending on what addons and what map you've got, and neither is fun or healthy for the game.

Yep everytime I face a Myers I instant go in lockers even if its a slim chance they do not have it. They nerf the Judith which was like not even what we ASKED for as that one already had its limits. The piece is what we been asking about but you know like Sable players doing Sable things, bvhr does bvhr things.

I dont know why they still exist, they are absolutely ridiculous. Insta kill and aura read addons… they arent fun, interactive, or scary.
Or fair.
it makes me have a certain rule when I face meyers in SoloQ sadly.1 -
I've never had a problem with that. It's unique to him and I don't think it should be taken away. It's cool to get the adrenaline rush of knowing whether he can have the tombstone or not.

because it sells DLCs. For that reason alone, those busted AF add-ons will never be changed/removed

I'll give you my tombstone piece when you take it from my cold, dead hands.

He's an M1 killer with no anti loop…no excuse why people can't loop him. The problem is when people can't loop and intentionally try to get in Myers face, Myers just stalks them thinking "smh what are you people doing?" Then kills them. He's one of the only killers that actually punishes people for acting like a clown trying to get the killers attention. You want the killers attention by looping and t bagging and flashy flashy? You got it... Tombstoned.

Myers is in a weird spot. He hasn't aged well and if it wasn't for a few addons his kill rate would much lower. Which makes it hard to balance his addons without making changes to his entire kit and Myers was just not on bhvr radar for any significant changes last I remember them talking about twins and freddy taking priority.

Tombstone piece is not overpowered. If you are dying to tombstone piece early in the game your team is playing very, very bad. Not only does it take ages to get but it also means he’s applying zero pressure. It’s also so ridiculously easy to avoid by just jumping in a locker.
Tombstone piece just punishes bad play and isn’t good against good players. If you were playing Myers against good players for a cash prize you wouldn’t be bringing this addon.Post edited by Blueberry on-4 -
Cause the devs have no actual game sense. They just design what comes to their mind, not really thinking about how it works out. There is absolutely no legit argument to defend that this addon is still being in the game.

Oh noooo the killer is using his power, gotta nerf it!

I was saying back before his rework that the add-ons need some love, and Tombstone Piece needs a nerf.
He has 5 aura reading add-ons, 2 of which nerf him directly (and the rest is not great either), 3 that boost his speed while stalking (why? idk), 4 that make Tier III last longer and are IDENTICAL to each other, aside 10+ seconds for each rarity increase.
Aside from all that, he should be able to break pallets faster in Tier III, lunge a bit more in Tier I, activate his power with a button instead of staring (why didn't this get added ages ago?), and get a graphical update because he aged poorly and it SHOWS.

Against a Meyers who reaches his maximum stalk level, you want to assume they can insta-mori you. The counterplay at that point is to try to predict when you can't loop anymore and hop in a locker. Meyers can't insta-mori you when he has to pick you up, so he'll be forced to either drop you and leave you slugged, or carry you to a hook. In those cases, you might need to just flat-out avoid some places in favor of locations where you'll find a locker. And if you're the last survivor left and that happens, well… not much can be done.
I get it though, it feels cheap when you get moried from a healthy state with 0 hooks. But Meyers isn't great at chase. His stalk and having insta-downs and even insta-mories is the trade for that. I think that particular addon can be wildly oppressive for players whose MMR isn't as high as some, because in this case it's absolutely critical to know the counterplay and be prepared to do it, and because even somewhat advanced survivor players usually aren't going to pull a 3 gen chase.
As @Blueberry said, and I imagine you know already, you need to avoid letting him get line of sight in the early game. Meyers builds slowly, getting his stalk built up by watching you in that creepy Michael Meyers way, then becomes a major threat for a time when he hits his maximum stalk. The team has to counter that by pounding out gens as fast as possible in the early game, and avoiding three genning while also running, hiding, and breaking his line of sight whenever possible.

Except for during BP events, I love going against Tombstone Myers. If I like them, I get killed in a fun manner (I've tricked some into Tombstoning me when they swing at an object and I run into their swing). If I don't like them, I frustrate the hell out of them with not letting go of gens and/or Plot Twisting. It's a really entertaining change-up from the normal gameplay loop.
If survivors don't ignorantly feed him EW, then you can get through a lot of gens before a double-iri Myers powers up. Tombstone Piece is a different matter, I've seen it get powered up way too quickly and that feels especially crappy when some watch-me-teabag teammate powers Myers up and then he goes and kills some other poor unsuspecting survivor who had no idea the Meg was butt dancing in the killer's face all this time.

100% this. People that complain about Myers being op or tombstone op are usually the ones that like to t bag killers at every available opportunity. This allows stalk to build and get a mori early. If people avoided line of sight Myers is actually harmless. Slow, no anti loop M1 killer. I even went months of trying to explain to people post match when I'm Myers, a good tactic to counter Myers is jump in a locker BEFORE he gets his stalk. People just didn't understand why give a hook stage for nothing. But it's not for nothing, Myers can't stalk the player if they are in a locker and can't stalk if they are hooked. So it denies his entire power and gives others a chance to knock out a few gens. Many times people hide in locker after Myers has 99 stalk, which is way too late, the damage is done. Myers can hook them and is already set up to Mori the next player they come across, potentially Mori the one going for the unhook. Being a Myers main I know the things that counter me and what would slow me down in a match, survivors just don't do these things often.

I just love it when I face Survivors that get 4-5 Gens done and I don't have a hook….
See what I did there

Is it even OP in today's standard, which is nerfed slowdown and much faster game pace overall?

As far as I know, only the tombstone piece poses a real problem.
The full tombstone has drawbacks, and takes twice as long to fully stalk. It also makes you a lot slower.3
