PSA regarding corrupted Vessels

The Gameplay explanation text is a bit misleading with its first phrase.
Only hanging Vessels and the one the hooked Survivor was carrying become corrupted and destructible.
In short: if you have a Vessel and aren't caught, it is safe until you escape.
I confirmed this with a QA dev.
