Passive Rift fragment generation ̶r̶e̶m̶o̶v̶e̶d̶ nerfed?

From the looks of things you no longer get rift fragments from simply acquiring XP for your devotion level. I see that the milestone quests award some rift fragments but I'm concerned about the possibility that this is slower than the generation from XP. At the very least if the passive generation is still there I don't see an XP tracker anywhere that shows the amount of XP you need to get fragments.

you still get points passively, there's just no pop up showing it

Edit: So during past rifts 500 xp would award you with 1 fragment (10% of a tier). New rift gives you 5 fragments (5% of a tier) for 500 xp.

Having played a few more matches I think the passive generation is still there because I have one more rift level than I believe I should have if it wasn't there, however there is no progress indicator showing how much XP you need to earn rift fragments now, making it unclear whether or not it's being earned in the first place.

Thank goodness. Appreciate you following up, was trying to decide if I'd uninstall or update when I get home.

Maybe a bug or oversight? Either way a lack of visual feedback (especially where there used to be) is a step in the wrong direction for sure.

Havin played additional matches, they have nerfed the passive progression rate compared to the past, but buffed the progression granted by challenges. I wish the passive generation would be the same rate as before.
