Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Have you had any experiences in real life with mundane things/objects/scenarios that frightened you?

I recently took a test in a building that had a really scary bathroom electrical noise. I keep thinking about it.

I used to live deep in the middle of nowhere, with the house surrounded by woods. Sometimes when you're alone at night in a place like that, 3am rolls around and you hear an animal outside, but your brain starts to think about all those games you play and movies you watch. Silence and solitude can be very mundane, but sometimes it made me grab something that could be a weapon while I put on something happy to watch so my brain would stop being paranoid and I could get to sleep :)

I used to be a recreational dreamer. But I started getting nightmares so I tried lucid dreaming to control my dreams. One thing I had always been afraid of more than anything was dying in my dream. Does dying in a dream or killing yourself kill you IRL? Could you shock yourself into the next world?

One night I dreamed I went parachuting but my parachute didn't work so I had to watch and wait for the SPLAT. This is where I'd normally wake up instantly, but this time I just saw my exploded corpse everywhere while I was just standing there. I thought I turned into a ghost :(

I felt like an irl Quentin trying to stay awake to avoid the Dream World . I can't tell what's real
