Is deep rift no longer obtainable without an extra £7.50/$10?
Been doing the math and something isn't adding up. Since the rift fragment requirement has gone up from 10 per level to 100 per level it doesn't actually seem possible to complete the deep rift ongoing without paying for the additional 20 levels
Before I start please note that I am having to assume that the rift fragments you get for weekly tasks will stay the same a 75 rift fragments per quest. I'm also assuming the milestone quests are not infinite.
So lets do the math
First lets look at the weekly quests
75rf per weekly quest
5 quests per week
12 weeks of quests
Total of 4500rf = 45 levels on rift
Now lets look at the daily tasks (assuming you complete them every day for 12 weeks straight)
15rf per daily challenge
3 challenges per day
45rf per day total
Total of 3780rf for 12 weeks or 37 levels on the rift
Add these together you get 8280rf or 82 levels of the rift.
Now I understand there are milestone quests which this first month are going to allow everyone to complete the rift however once these milestone quests are completed unless behaviour want to keep adding to these then these can't be counted for future rifts.
This means that everyone will be 18 rift levels short for the deep rift every time and you will need to buy the premium rift pass with 20 extra levels for double cost.
In summary this means that you have to play DBD every single day completing all 3 quests, You need to complete every weekly quest and you still won't complete the deep rift. As i said the milestones will make up for the missing levels (I hope) but these will run out.
I'm sure they have done this on purpose as this will net them a decent profit but i think its a bit of a kick in the teeth for players who have always grinded the game for deep rift back when you could get rift fragments for just playing the game.
For anyone interested in the free rift this is still completable and you don't have to play every day. You need to complete 56/84 days of daily quests + all weekly quests to finish the rift to level 70 so that part isn't to bad

To my understanding this isn't true, here's a bit from BHVR's news blog about the new quest system:
"Over the course of a Rift Cycle" implies IMO that Milestones will also be restarted when a new Rift begins. It's also worth noting that Event Quests will add an unknown amount of extra Fragments to each Rift.
With that said, the general sentiment of this post still holds true, right now the Rift Fragment rewards don't seem right. We need generic Rift Fragment earning so people can always earn them on their own terms, the system shouldn't be so reliant on Dailies, and people who mostly play one side of the game should still feel like completing the Rift is possible.

Similar to the archive, more challenges will be released over time as the season goes on. That being said, it will certainly take more consistent playing to get every tier than before this change was released.

I'll be honest I didn't see that part about milestones. If your theory is true with milestones resetting every rift then enough fragments can be made.
The issue is this forces players into playing a certain way. I did my dailies today and because I was dealt a bad map and very good survivors I resulted in throwing the game to get my dailies done and that's it. Having rift fragments being earnt based on your performance in that game would encourage better play and less throwing.

It's pretty obvious that milestones reset every rift, they even have a timer that counts the days until they are reset just like the rest of the quests, so your math is off here, reaching max level is still definitely possible. But those are for players that play a lot, most players won't get close to maxing them unless they play pretty seriously, which is lame.
For me, my biggest gripe are the dailies. Why do you get a little under half a level and only 7500 BP for doing dailies? That's even less than the 30k you used to get, which was already not really even worth it. Aren't dailies supposed to be the best return for the least time possible, a big reward for just checking in? Dailies should be the quick and easy way that casuals can level their rift pass and get some BP without investing too much time, but the rewards are just bad. It should be at least 60k BP and 1 full level for doing all 3 dailies.
At the same time, if dailies become too important, then that's just FOMO that forces people to check in every day, and I'm so tired of games demanding this kind of followup nowadays. I'm sure they'll tweak and fix the quests so they'll be reasonable at some point though.

We also don't know how many rift fragments the rift quests in the future weeks will reward us with. They could (and should) offer more than the ones in the first week.

I mean yeah now we know that milestones reset then yeah full rift is doable every month including deep rift. Like you said though only the hardcore never touch grass/play this game for a living players will actually complete these every rift cycle.
For a casual gamer who hops on 2 - 3 times a week like myself where i used to be able to complete the rift thru casual play now I will have to be on every single day and even then i don't get max.
It also doesn't help that they are now forcing you (for the milestones at least) to play both sides. The rift should be completable regardless what side you play. As a mainly killer player i have maybe 1 or 2 survivor games per month if that but again now im forced to play more and more survivor which just isn't fun to me.I highly doubt more will be given honestly. Behaviour has a long standing tradition of not giving much away so it seems unlikely they will give more rift fragments each week. In order to have the standard rift completed then they would need to up the amount of fragments by 10 each week for all 5 quests. this gets you to level 78 on the rift by my calculations.
Honestly this would be fine as it will allow casual players to complete the basic rift without having to dedicate a stupid amount of time to the game.

Dont know how you guys do math I get the following:
45 level by Rift pass
37 level by Daily
38 level by Milestone
= 120 level in total
additionaly 0.05 level per 250 XP

The problem with that is the Dailies are limited by, well, being daily.
If you don't complete the three Daily tasks on a specific day, those Fragments are gone permanently.
So for example, if you completed all 12 Rift Pass weeks for the 45 tiers, and got the 38 tiers from finishing all Milestones, that's still only putting you at tier 83/100.
Those last 17 tiers will have to be made up through Dailies, which give 45 Fragments each day. That's about 37 separate days of completing all three Daily Tasks.
If my maths is correct, which it very may well not be (I'm bad at math), it is not possible to complete the Rift if you start with less than 37 days left before it closes. There simply is not enough Fragments because you missed out on the first 50 days.

Not everybody can play every day.
Also a lot of people don´t play both sides. This limits the fragments even more.
It absolutely should be possible to finish the rift if you only want to play one side.
I hope the look into this and up the gaining a bit.

Those are still without anx income due to playtime, events or other modes/modifier.

I've only just noticed that as you go up in Milestone steps, the amount of fragments increases too. I'm starting to think people might be jumping the gun a bit on this. If Milestone fragments increase, then I can't see why the weekly quest fragments won't increase either.
