1Gen Lock Debate

First off what I mean on 1Gen lock is when the 3 remaining Gens are locked down by the Killer because there one to close together or the killer knows what there doing.

I was wondering If it's the Killers fault that the survivors couldn't get out of a 1Gen Lock or is it the Survivors fault for not watching what Gens they are doing to provent this from happening

I've had 5 games where the Killer and I manage to get a 4k at 1Gen because they last remaining Gens where close together and the survivors couldn't get our of the lock the killer had them in and was insulted and degraded because of the outcome.

II'm Wondering if it was my fault for this happening in the game or is it the survivors fault.

My apologies if I misunderstand anything you wrote.

What you're discussing is generally called 3 genning. I don't like to use the word 'fault', but no one should be insulted in the end game chat over it. Sometimes killers only try and defend a 3 gen, which can be very boring to play against, but its not against the rules and not as bad as it once was.

If you're talking about the holding a 3 gen to try and use the abandon feature, that's a different topic that BHVR needs to clear up.

I only said this because I'm a Killer main and I do get alot of hate on how I play and it's just me seeing if it was my fault

Well this is the way i see it.

There are two scenarios a "3-gen" can happen. In 1, it is the survivors fault and 2, the killer is not so much at fault but more like their responsible for.

Scenario 1: survivors dont spread out their gens. meaning instead doing gens 1/3/5/7, they're doing gens 1/2/3/4. So when gen 4 is done, this causes a "3-gen" struggle which is the result of not spreading out their gens.

Scenario 2: AKA "Killer's Last Stand".

This can happen 1 of 3 ways:

    1. The Killer looks for the 3 gens closest to each other at the start and protects them
    2. They decide to do this in the middle of the match
    3. Or before the 2nd to last gen is completed

However this happens is just the killer preparing for the last stand which a lot of the survivor community frowns on. Mostly cause the killer that was the best at this was Skull Merchant ( placing her drones at the 3 gens to notify her to come back, to place claw traps on survivors working on those gen, or just to keep survivors away from those 3 gens).

At the end of the day when the killer does this its called "strategy" but we all know survivor mains hate that word. So thats just my take

There are some absolute broken spawns still in the game like look at this

Like if they dont get one of these done, the game is just over.

Thanks for Clearing this up. I honestly have autism lvl2 (high functioning) and my brain has trouble understanding things. They told me it was my fault and that I should of let them do that final Gen and let them leave and that my build was uncountable and that I should Delete my account and leave the game to the People who don't have a disability.

This was the build they said was uncountable
