A full explanation of the moonlight event vessels from a survivors perspective.

How you behave during a match regarding the vessels (as a survivor) is dependent on what survivor type you are.

If you are a standard "gen-rushing" survivor I strongly recommend that you leave vessels be until the trial is over. The killer can only break vessels while someone is hooked, or if they hook someone with a vessel in their possession. Since you'll be gen rushing the killer will place less pressure on targeting you because they'll be after the looper. In the event that you don't have a looper and you get hooked, you don't really lose anything and the killer has to frantically sprint towards every vessel they can (which are scattered because nobody grabbed any) in order to break them. This gives you plenty of time to get rescued and deny them the ability to break vessels.

If you are a looper (that is actually skilled at looping) I strongly recommend that you grab a vessel as soon as possible. Holding a vessel gives you a clear visual effect that announces to killers "If you hook me you get extra event points!" This will help you experience a level of tunneling that rivals the infamous "uncloaking camper Wraith".

If you are an absolute bloodpoint (expletive that implies promiscuity) then you're going to want to grab a vessel even faster than a looper as just holding a vessel gives you 500 BP every so often. Just remember that if you get hooked you lose your BP fountain and a source of event points.

Now a brief look at the point values for killer hooks and motive reveals that killers get more points than survivors only when they can hook each survivor three times. So if for any reason you are just determined to stick it to the killer, just suicide on the hook. You deny them extra event points from rehooking you, while also simultaneously denying them points they get if you were to DC. So for once, suiciding on-hook is actually more annoying than DCs, ain't that interesting?

All in all, just give it your best folks. Knowledge is power!

Oh, also you can sabotage the event hooks.

Have fun!

It's rather funny honestly.... Survivors are looking at the point values and flocking to it. Survivor side I had multiple minute que times. Killer side was borderline instantaneous.

A good method that works for me. Grab a vessel as soon as possible, get chased by the Killer, get hooked, regrab a vessel, get chased by Killer, get hooked again, get rescued, grab vessel again, go stealth mode as much as possible. If you used the offering, this is how you can max out on BP.
