DBD Black Screen

I've recently been getting a black screen on both of my monitors when playing dead by daylight. I can still hear the audio and my pc is still running only that the monitors do not detect anything. I checked task manager to see if anything is wrong and the GPU usage is 0% to 0.1% when running the game. This is only affecting dead by daylight and every other game I play is working fine. I have uninstalled the game and installed it again and still get this issue. Is anyone else getting this issue and is there a fix?

    I remember reading a while back about ultra wide issues with the game on monitors, however it usually caused those annoying black bars above and below. What you describe sounds more like cable issues or an iffy card, but I imagine you've already tested those.

    I had the same issue but it was fue to the new Nvidia driver and Window's Game Bar feature. The black screen for me was for multiple games, not just DBD. Disabling Game bar and clean install of the driver took care of the issue.
