The "Go Next Prevention" can't come soon enough!
So tired of survivors throwing my game because they get downed immediately so they just off themselves on a hook.

Half the time they actually stick around and spectate the whole match.
You can tell by looking at the menu after they die - if their gamer tag and ping is still there, so are they.
I honestly think a lot of people have to be doing this on purpose at this point. As in, they're literally not a rage quitter, they are just trolling and entertaining themselves by watching a 3v1 playout.

Hate to break it to you, but it won't change anything lol.
It isn't gonna make people wanna play more.

Knowing the devs, not only is it not going to do anything, but it will probably not even work and people who weren't even throwing are going to be punished.

Frankly I am just sick of my teammates deciding the Killer is playing too hard for their liking even when they play fair, and leaving the rest of us to languish at 4 gens and 1/12 hooks while the Killer snowballs us to oblivion.

Realistically, it won't change anything. Sure, they remain in the trial, but that's not going to make them contribute, resulting in the same 3v1 scenario.

I had a meg today who brought a macmillan offering, failed to loop against the blight, tried to give up and got stopped, my friend tried to heal her and then she refused the heal and ran into the killer, we did the same again to try and help her and take hits for her, she ran at the killer again.
Stopping go next is literally not going to stop it if it's taking attempts quickly and then sacrificing yourself. People will just find new ways to do it, or do what other survivors do and start sabotaging the rest of the team throwing every pallet down despite not being in chase.
I don't know what this is going to achieve.5 -
I get it, I am sorry, I am just frustrated is all.

With a competent company this would lead to bans for grieving.
Or at least low priority queues for those people that give up/intentionally throw.

I just feel like what the go next will do is of course the stated obviously….Which lessen the chances of survivors giving up and less opportunities to get in a match.
*Lose out on BP
*Lose a grade
*DC penalty - (What’s the max time the dc penalty can go up to?)
Sitting by a killer? You’re flagged
Offing yourself on hook? Flagged.
Going afk immediately after unhooked. Flagged.
Walking around X amount of time without helping push the objective? Flagged.
Going around throwing all the pallets on the map to get the killer’s attention? FlaggedSpam vaulting? Flagged.
I have had so many winnable matches that would have worked out perfectly had someone not decided to throw/give up. Lol

If teammates don't bother unhooking me and let me hit second stage even with Kindred, then yeah, I'm out.

Thsts so frustrating. Lately I have been running Steve’s perk self reassurance because yeah. 🤦🏻♂️

I’m sorry but I’m not playing against Blight/Nurse as a soloQ player it’s just not enjoyable, balance these killers and I’ll stay, until then I’m going next, if they introduce a punishment for hook suicide I’ll just watch YouTube while holding W.

Are these all things you want in the game? and by flagged what exactly do you mean?
2 -
I don’t know truthfully exactly what I want in the game, I just know that I am very genuinely tired of people going next for any given reason.
I don’t know what the solution is going to be. I’m sure the developers will be able to work that out overtime but yeah, I’m just stating my thoughts off the cuff.Again those are just my thoughts off the cuff but flagged meaning a system will be put into place where the game will be able to detect certain things as survivor is doing to try to throw or go next. If that makes any sense. :)

They have to figure out a way to handle it that wont also make the game miserable to play is the issue. Like many have said, they cannot force people to play out a match, they will find a way to just not participate. I think the key here is to balance the game properly and make the solo queue survivor role less miserable to play which is where majority of the go nexting happens.

Solo Q survivor needs love. I won’t argue that. 💯 needs help. However this isn’t always the case for when a survivor offs themselves.
Oh a blight? Next. Nurse? Next. Ghoul? Next. Oh clown? I got downed immediately. Next. There has to be some type of accountability to a degree.
Again though, you are right. A lot of this will be resolved if they fix game balance and do more for soloq. Survivors as a whole. (Which community manager said, we don’t do enough for survivors)

Atleast they acknowledge that the survivor role needs help.

Speaking of this, they mentioned soon in the livestream a new item will be given to survivors and that keys/maps will be reworked to be given more functionality.
What do you think the new item will be or hoping to be?-1 -
If i had to guess, something that they've played around with before, maybe the smoke bombs we saw in the halloween event? But personally i didn't enjoy those, they got in the way too much from a teammate pov.

What about a sleep dart! 🤣
Doesn’t actually put the killer to sleep but makes them feel sluggish. Hindered.

Patiently waiting for people to realize that solo queue is so bad because the devs refuse to nerf SWF while the two exist in the same game mode

People will find creative ways to get around the system. Like what happens if someone just afks on a gen missing skill check after skill check until the killer grabs them? How would the devs be able to know if they were throwing or if they are just terrible at the game? The whole system just seems like a big waste of development resources. It would have been better to just remove self unhooks and the skill checks in stage two. Or maybe move the self unhook to a single attempt that can only be used in stage two.
