Anyone else seeing new Generator spawns?
I have seen at least 2 generator spawns I have never seen before with 2k hours on the game. Anyone else seeing these? One in particular I remember being new to me is at the top of the stairs of the two-story on a Badham Preschool map. Not tucked away in that little room, but right at the top of the stairs next to the window.

Y'all are keeping track of different gen spawns now?

We have to, because these changes are usually not documented and if nobody brings it up, they just go unnoticed. Map balance is more important than perk or killer balance imo.
The obvious one for example is rpd main lobby; back in the day it was one generator. Somewhere around the rpd rework and skull merchant era gen placements got tighter overall

That actually isn't a new one! It was just removed for some reason a while back, same with a spawn in the same house downstairs. But I have been seeing some new new spawns, like beside the shed with a vault + breakable wall on Haddonfield.

yeah, why not?
Knowing possible gen spawns helps during a match: which gens to focus on/protect etc., if its single/multiple surv gens, some spawns may even help/hinder in chase

That's a very old spawn that's been around since before the map was reworked 💀
This is why I say a couple thousand hours in dbd doesn't make you a veteran lmfao

I'm approaching 4,000 hours and I'm almost confident I could tie a pair of shoes without looking.

I think you're gonna need a hundred thousand to do it without looking tbh
There's a very high skill ceiling to shoe tying

Tis what smart players do. Map knowledge is pretty important.

I mean I just look for where the most gens are, and keep extra close watch on those. I don't document all of the different spawn patterns for every map…

Yup

Always have been :)
Same goes for any other spawns really, like how Shelter Woods is now generating generic filler tiles you would find on all the other macmillan maps
