Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Tell me! 🔦 What’s your favorite build as Survivor? ☺️

This could be a lore build for your character or in general your favorite survivor build! I love seeing different styles! 💯

I’ll go first. I main Yoichi - my favorite build on him is also based around his lore.

Empatheic Connection, Parental Guidance, Alert, and Premonition! 🔮

I am currently trying to P100 Orela so i have been playing as her.

I usually swap between two builds, right now my build has been Dead Hard, Resilience, Adrenaline, Decisive Strike. But when im not using that build i typically use Dramaturgy, Finesse, Fixated, Vigil.

One of us seems addicted to Cain's broken joke build: Shoulder the Burden, For the people, Second Wind, Clean break

I like my Cybil: Calm spirit, no one left behind, desperate measures, Borrowed Time

The last says Ada: Wiretap, kindred, fogwise, dark sense

Lithe is always my main exhaustion perk.

I have become huge Kindred fan, because I am playing mainly soloQ / duo and it makes it so much better.

    Lately often Resi → Kaneki

and Babysitter, because it's just very good anti tunneling perk. I don't really care if I get tunneled myself, so rather want to help others.

Kindred, Deja Vu, Resilience, Prove Thyself

    As Nancy or Johnathan, usually.

Love these builds! As soon as a Steve loads into my lobby or a Jonathan I immediately go my P67 Nancy.

I am a gremlin in game, so I love to run Blast Mine, Pebble, Bardic Inspiration, and Scene Partner. Usually with Steve or Mikaela, they have such good screams..

But my other fave build is Boil Over, Flip Flop, Tenacity and Unbreakable, for those days when killers are feeling sluggy. XD

EdIt to add: I will have to give some of these builds a try, I love my previously stated builds but I've been giggling at a few in here.

WIcked+Babysitter with a basement offering is my standard for cozy yet powerful. Sometimes I go all in and take Second Wind; that combo in the end game is so satisfying.

I'm big on Empathic Connection right now as a substitute for Botany for Strength in Shadows.

I still horse around with Birdvocations despite my teams hating it

I play as Steve or Johnathan if there's a Nancy. I bring a med-kit with the best add-ons and an Anniversary Cake. If she has no item of her own, I give her my med-kit as soon as I find her. I actually look for her before doing any gens 😍😍😍

stealth support. Pebble, autodidact, distortion, and breakout. It’s Awsome cause I am not good at chase so I hang back doing gens and healing people

i Do main Jeff so it is hard to hide as the giant black metal Santa but he’s hot so it is a fair trade

I have not been playing for a few weeks because of irl issues that are distracting me.

Prior to this current break, I've been playing 90% Killer since the go next stuff is just way too much for me.

I like to make thematic builds for every Survivor. So I don't have a favorite build!

I used to run Botany, Empathy, Self Care, and Bardic Inspiration. It's good in solo queue for helping teammates, healing myself when teammates won't heal me, and surprising killers with a song. My friend still runs this build.

These days, I run Pebble, Bardic Inspiration, and Plot Twist. The fourth perk is usually Mirrored Illusion, but sometimes I run Any Means Necessary or Plunderer's Instinct instead.

My main was Ada for a long time, but lately I've changed it up a bit by throwing Cheryl and the cultist, Taurie, into the mix.

Oh I like your builds! They have little twist here and there. Perks most killers wouldn't really expect and if all goes terribly wrong at least the killer gets a little song out of it LOL.

That little song has saved my life so many times lol.

Pebble is meme-y, but it's so wonderful when it works that I feel naked without it, now. I can't believe how many times I've been able to legitimately save my ass throwing pebbles. It's also great for making a killer laugh when they're staring straight at you in your pathetic hiding spot. And playing fetch with puppies.

Had a lot of funny situations recently running Power Struggle, Flip Flop and Plot Twist, with pretty much anything else as the 4th perk depending on mood or challenges I'm currently doing.

My normal build is Vigil, Botany, Sprint Burst and Leader. I just absolutely love how useful it is to have both Vigil and Leader, they seem to counter so many things with just a little teamwork, so versatile.

My most common build is: Deja, Botany, Off the Record, and Kindred

It gives me a little bit of everything.

In terms of enjoyment, I like running: Deja, Blast Mine, Wiretap and then anything else. I like to try and set up the blast mine / wiretap on a central gen which can be incredibly useful.

Also enjoy going full boon, but that doesn't have nearly as much success.

    I mostly play solo-queue, so not being able to rely on my team mates sort of goes hand in hand. Consequently, if I'm not running a silly meme build, my two main builds are;

    Sprint Burst
    Blood Rush
    Lightweight
    Resurgence
Item: Medkit with Surgical Suture and either Bandages or Needle & Thread.

Too often I end up dealing with fellow survivors that farm me in the killers face after I've been hooked, or survivors that unhook me and insist they heal me under hook and when I try to move away from the hook to find a safer place to heal, just leave me hanging. To that end, I use this build to Zip away from the hook at Mach 1 with Sprint Burst, unhook haste, and Blood Rush to extend the speed, Lightweight to make sure my scratch marks are gone by the time the killer comes back, and Resurgence and the Surgical Suture-medkit to get back to full health incredibly fast. If I can get a great skill check, the heal speed is ridiculous.

    The alternative build I run is;

    Strength in Shadows
    Botany Knowledge
    Vigil
    Dramaturgy
Item: Usually just a brown toolbox

The idea with this one is to be able to benefit from Dramaturgy as often as possible by being able to self heal as fast as possible without a medkit if I do get injured, or through Vigil if I can avoid the hit altogether. The brown toolbox is just because they're effectively disposable. I expect to lose the item I bring in because of Dramaturgy anyway, so at least I can get some quick gen progress at the start by burning through the brown box.

    Oh, by the by, my favorite meme build remains;

    Blast Mine
    Mirrored Illusion
    Red Herring
    Bardic Inspiration.

    IYKYK

It rarely comes together, but when it does? Chef's kiss.

I wish I had a favourite build. I get bored too easily. I guess if I had to pick it'd be Empathy, Resurgence, Lightweight, and maybe Fixated?

Hahaha, love some of these builds. I mix up on builds a lot, but I'd say the build I have most fun on is:

    Core: -

    • Plot Twist
    • Tenacity

I love Tenacity, its my favourite perk by a mile, cause it makes being slugged actually fun. Trying to slip away without the killer noticing is actually feasible and fun to try, without recovery halting as you crawl away.

Adding Plot Twist gives you guaranteed value from Tenacity, and gives you a lot of flexibility to split up after unhooks, let's you heal while being very hard to detect/spot by the killer, gives you 2 uses, the latter being like a budget Adrenaline... and comes in strangely useful in a number of quirky situations such as when facing Pinhead chains, Pig Trapped, Oni (no blood), healing and waking yourself up vs. Freddy, healing vs. Sadako while ignoring condemned, ignoring Legion/DeathSlingeror BT Deep Wound, healing during EGC to slow the timer, healing while waiting out broken...

...and if all else fails there is something just hilarious about Plot Twisting in the killers face... it's gotten me hatch a couple of times vs. Killers with a sense of humour xD

Combo 1 for healing yourself theough Broken:

    • Vigil
    • For the People/Deliverance

Combo 2 if you're really afraid of tunneling:

    • Decisive Strike
    • We'll Make It

Combo 3 if you're really afraid of slugging:

    • Distortion
    • We're Gonna Live Forever

Combo 4 if you're a dirt bag with a duo and using PT to go down under pallets (don't do this seriously... it's stupid filthy 🤣):

    • Power Struggle
    • Flip Flop

And you can pretty much take whatever you want really for your other 2 slots. Exhaustion, Gen Rush, Team Healing support, whatever really.

wicked / DS / boil over / DH

    • It's a risky but very fun build, so I don't recommend it to those who are new to the game.Of course the survivor has to play it on purpose for it to work, so loop very close to the basement. Boil over is essential to force the killer to use the basement hooks. The liberation from the hook must happen immediately, then induce the killer to tunnel the survivor, then use the DS, and finally the DH. If all goes according to plan, at least 3-4 generators have been completed🤣

I have a oban obsessionession with Fixated ever since I got Nancy just that extra boost of walking speed allows me to end chase very easily and lower my exhaustion rate but I usually go for

    Fixated Adrenaline Unbreakable Sprint burst

    and when Im feeling chill

Chem trap Fixated sprint burst blast mine

I've been using Light-footed today and wow have I been sleeping on it. I can tell which killers use headphones and are attuned to survivor sounds, it completely throws them off. I even got a clutch endgame save by just running behind the killer as he guarded the hooked survivor. He had no idea I was there.

light footed is sleeper agent perk for sure. I’m glad you like it, it’s one of my favorites. Works in so many builds. I love running perks that just mess with mechanics on the opposite side.
