Is the speed buff from the Hope perk really that useful?
Seems the speed boost plus healing of Adrenaline sounds very good.

In my opinion there’s not much of a difference. They’re both end game perks and adrenaline alone sounds good enough.1

It is very good. Watch Angry Pug run on twitch sometime. It makes 115% killers take almost twice as long to catch up to you and 110% killers basically have to use their ability or you are home free.1

if u have to choose between hope and adrenaline, go with adrenaline. if not, hope is pretty solid0

I remember back then when a known streamer used hope and was as fast as a team mate who wasn't using hope. Could be a bug back then, but since I saw that this perk looks useless for me0

Hope just saved my vessel-carrying ass yesterday, escaped really just by a hair. Very neat against 110% killers, in this case, a Legion. The heal effect of Adrenaline makes it superior, but still, Hope can be great.

i remember old days when you could equip 4 same perks... someone took 4 hopes that at that moment were giving 4% speed till the end of match (escape or death) and were running at 116% speed... and BloodLust wasn't a thing at that moment... so he easly escape everyone

Yes.
Hope does make a difference when it comes to chases, especially loops.
Killers like Huntress, Legion, T1 Myers. Paintbrush Freddy, are all super weak to it. Infact, anyone with 110% MS except for Spirit I find it works impeccable.
The only thing that sucks is the 120 second timer.

YES
Hope soft counters NOED's speed boost, meaning you can outrun a killer using NOED. Hope also DESTROYS slow killers. You basically become uncatchable to them in pure chase (though obviously they can still use their power to catch you). Combine it with Balanced Landing on a map like forest, you can infinite every killer in the game (unless they have NOED).
Hope is low key OP.
